The hoop does not close up
Well packaged with clear instructions but no printed pattern you have to count the squares so not really suitable for younger children, I would say best for either those who have already completed various cross stitching with a good final result. The kit contains a hoop, 2 needles, a needle threader and unpicker 2 in one. The needles are pretty blunt so if you have better embroidery needles I would recommend using them. There is plenty of embroidery thread and the colours are lovely and bright. The fabric is very stiff so your thread keeps catching on it so be attentive when pulling it through the material. The big downer is that the embroidery hoop does not work, I tried many attempts to get the screw to catch so the hoop could be tightened but there is no thread. Fortunately uts only a small 6 to 7 inch circle so I was able to do it with out the thread but it does mean that counting the squares a little harder but for the price its fine and once I have finished it I will post a picture. If you already own various size hoops you may be able to use them instead.

Got this for my 10 year old. I think she found it too complicated. Maybe an adult would find it easier? Everything there for you to use & a good size! Good quality.

Not enough thread
Disappointed as not enough thread provided to finish. Guide picture very small and hard to read

I thought the pattern woukd be printed on the material tgat was a disappointment
It was a beautiful pattern with flower arrangements but as im a beginner in embroidery it will be rather difficult for me as pattern is not printed on the material.If the pattern was printed on material then i could follow easily.In future i will buy embroidery sets with pattern printed on material so i can do easily..
