Big Pig on a Dig (Easy Words to Read)

Cute little story with flaps to open and easy words to recognize.

We bought three books; Sam Sheep Can't Sleep, Shark in the Park and Pig on a Dig for our grandson for Christmas. He is just beginning to read and we thought these would be a great addition to his library. Wow! We are so impressed. The story lines are great, the pictures are beautifully done and because the same characters appear in all of the books, he was engaged and wanted to read them over and over. The use of phonics gave him the courage to READ OUT LOUD. Great books.

This is a great book for early readers. My 4 year old is learning to read she loves this book. She laughs every time we read it.

Cute book in the Usborne series! Beautiful illustrations. A favorite of many of the students who use it in my speech therapy sessions.

Great book! My two year old loves it and can pick out some of the words.

A very enjoyble book. About a pig who finds a treasure map and sets out on a dig to find the hidden treasure. A good book for toddlers and childern who are learning how to read.

This book series is nice with interesting pictures and two to three liners on each page. This creates interest in reading, my kids started loving books.

I bought this as I teach English to Japanese children, and this is their favourite book!There is one page where the rhyme doesn't really work, where suddenly the pig has a wig, and hops on a stick, but otherwise the story is cute and fun.I really enjoy this series and am slowly collecting them!
