Very challenging. Very easy to take with you anywhere.

I love Smartgames puzzles, and own over a dozen of them. Like all their puzzles, IQ Waves is well-designed, compact, fun, and challenging.Here's the bonus: most of this company's puzzles are made out of hard plastic, which is not usually a problem, except when you're in a situation where you need to be quiet. The pieces clack and make enough noise to annoy someone who's nearby watching tv or trying to sleep (or maybe just has "delicate ears").But the pieces in Waves are made of firm rubber. This makes play extremely quiet. You could play it on an airplane, and your seat mate won't be bothered.

I purchased this game for my 7-year old grandson for his birthday. He loves keeping games like this in the car when he travels to and from his soccer and basketball games. His mom and dad like to play them too and likes how portable this one is.

This puzzle gives the brain a good workout! Its great that it gets the mind going but doesn't overtax it.Very creative in its design. Its evident to me that the creator has an understanding and appreciation for keeping the mind active and its benefits.I would not recommend this for travel, though. Simply because there are a number of smaller pieces that can fall and easily get lost.

The colors are bold, the shapes interesting to the eye. The pieces are slightly soft: a tactile compliment to the curves. I haven’t finished all the puzzles yet - I always get stumped on two or three - but it’s all part of the fun.
