Real Avid makes great stuff and this bore guide is proof. Multiple "tips" to fit every caliber rifle, the fit and function is excellent. It's very easy to use, even has a port to add bore cleaner/CLP to the brush inside the guide to keep from dripping/spilling it before you run the brush down the bore. I really like it and consider it a great value for the price paid. I recommend it.

This poor guy works very well. It's constructed well. The only thing I would suggest is be careful with the chamber locks. You could cause them to stretch out pretty quick if you force the issue. Other than that it's work extremely well for me over the past months.

This bore guide is the best one I have found. I use in bolt actions and my SFAR. So far I have only used it in .30 caliber rifles, but I am sure it will work in .223 to .45 caliber rifles.Cleaning bores is so much easier now. It seals the chamber fairly well. I like that it is easy to center and use patches with this bore guide. The solvent window is outstanding!Functionally is is very easy to set up and it does not move around in use.For the money it’s great! It takes the place of 2 or more bore guides.Real Avid makes some fantastic, reliable, innovative products.

Have some other real avid products that i like, but this is not one of them. This device lists it as being usable on center fire rifles up to 375. Well you might be able to use it but not like it was advertised. It does not fit long action rifles, .270, .338 .375 etc. The device is too short to reach chamber so it wont hold to rifle tight while cleaning. If you try to install it into action and do not realize that it is too short the entire device gets stuck in action. I had to disassemble rifle to get it unstuck. The spring part of assembly is supposed to hold it into place while you clean bore, but it cannot reach chamber with the tips provided to it basically moves around while using cleaning rod. Might be great in a short action rifle, havent tried it yet, but not good for larger rifles. Instructions are also very vague and unhelpful. I found the device to be totally useless and very irritating to use, as it does not fit correctly in long action guns, this should probably be noted on description of product for buyers to consider.

I have used this item twice since receiving it last week. I have numerous other Real Avid products and they are typically well thought out. The product is easy to figure out and use. I am giving it 3 stars right now due to my concern about the durability of the plastics used. The aluminum tube itself is well made. My concern lies with the plastic attachments. They are holding up for now but I do think with repeated on/off they may break easily. Luckily, it wasn't that expensive so time will tell how this bore guide holds.

I like the different adapters & it locks into the receiver rock solid. Don't waste your money onanything else. No more solvent in the trigger or action. You will love to clean your rifles again !

This is well designed and very effective for it's intended purpose.

Pretty decent bore guide. I like being able to use it for multiple calibers. Its spring loaded so when you pull the retaining clip, hang on to it. That thing can FLY across your shop!
