Quality, affordability, and user friendly.
Upgraded from my Go7 and couldn't be happier. The Simrad Go series is super intuitive, extremely user friendly, and capable of being interfaced with radar, and other devices easily.The large touch screen and brilliant display make charts and echo easy to view in any conditions. Add to this, the Simrad App for your phone and you can easily see why these machines are such a great deal.

You have to buy another transducer
It is definitely a let down that they market this as having side scan and down scan right out of the box with the included transducer. It does not. I will only do echo and give you a depth and temperature reading. You have to buy the 3 in 1 transducer to get side scan and down scan per the simrad support line.

Defective unit sold. If you can't install immediately, hold off on this purchase
We are starting up a business and purchased everything in early December. Shame on us because we were sent a defective unit from this seller and weren't able to install it until this past week, and since we are out of our return window, they won't help us.Not sure how I'm supposed to give more than 1 star for a defective unit.Unit will turn on, but won't chart.

Outside of box had some wear however, GPS and accessories were in great condition. Install and initial testing have been great.
