Encore CoatingSealback Wood and Concrete Sealer | Acrylic Low VOC Floor Sealer For Natural Wood, Concrete, and Outdoor Surfaces (1/2 Gallon)

I was going to wait a year to write a review, but i will do it now and update if necessary. This stuff id outstanding- exactly as advertised. Coverage, ease of use, everything.I started out with a lot of prep work- my expansion joints were those white hard plastic things that were all cracked. I cut those out- by far the most time consuming part. I then filled those joints with the flexible latex rubber that is made for expansion joints. Then i took a 4” grinder and cleaned out all other cracks and made them larger so i could fill them with patch concrete. Then i cleaned the surface with a power washer and the cleaner that comes with the kit. First picture is the surface after all this preparation.Then i prepared the coating per the instructions and rolled it on. It dries quickly, and a second coat does the job. Coverage was just at exactly what they said it wiuld be.The next pics are after it was complete. I then sealed it. Easy.I have powerwashed it a few times since, snd not one bit has flaked off. The surface is very cool compared to the old concrete. Everyone lives it.Interested to see how it does over the winter, but so far- outstanding stuff.And when i had a few questions early on- you get right to people who know exactly what they are doing on the first call.

Picture is one week after completely re surfacing my pool deck with encore products including 2 coats of Sealback. I've even pressure washed my pool deck and those stains won't go away. Very disappointed. The main reason I used Sealback was due to encore's claim that it prevents staining but that's just not trueI'm a fan of the other encore products but this is by far their worst. Please use a different sealer.

I love that you can add your own color. My pool has never looked and felt so good
