While the sound comes through perfectly, the video doesn't display on the TV for some apps, which is quite disappointing. This restricts the full potential of the adapter, especially if you're looking to stream movies or shows from popular streaming services.If your primary use is to mirror your phone's screen, this adapter works well. But if you're hoping to stream content from various apps, you might face some challenges.Updated: Change it to 4 stars because of great customer service.Customer service was great. They message me and resolve some of the problems I had with this wireless display adapter.

Worked exactly as I hoped ! My not quite smart tv can now handle blue toothed videos from my iPhone . So easy to set up and use .

AirPlay works. Streams audio great. Fails to play video when streaming service like Netflix rotates the screen. Menu is in Chinese.

Didn't work on arrival. Plugged into TV and the screen would flash black and was unusable. I tried another HDMI device and it worked fine so it's not the TV. This item is actually branded iShare, not the brand shown in the listing. I bought this to replace another iShare brand HDMI screen mirroring device that had also failed. They make a poor quality product with bad QC. Beware!
