Love: The Joy That Wounds: The Love Poems of Rumi

This book is similar to the one on Gibran by the same publishers. It contains some lovely poetry and illustrations on Rumi, and is great to pick up when you are in the mood for some spiritually uplifting reading without having to delve into anything too heavy .. The message is dreamy and gently takes you into the realm of the sufi's. There aren't many poems in this book, but there is a lovely ambience that is built through the poems that have been selected, and overall the book is aesthetically pleasing. The paper quality is not as nice the Gibran book in the series, and the paper has a yellow colour to it, whereas I preferred the cream used for the Gibran book better. The size is a nice square-ish, and the arabic calligraphy is lovely. This would make a great gift for someone who likes poetry, or for someone who collects nice books, and it has both Persian poetry and calligraphy.
