This holder is really nice. My phone fits securely and I am well pleased with my purchase.

I was surprised at the actual size of this car mount when it came in. It is really unintrusive in size so that when mounted it does not take up any more visible space than the phone itself. It is made from a strong metal material that is forged but appears as if were precision machined to create a high tech yet sleek design. The mounting surface is relatively small at no more than 1 ½ inch in diameter so that it will fit nicely on a convenient surface of your choosing. On my F150 truck I had two suitable mounting options, on the radio escutcheon or on the top dashboard.I was able to mount on the top of the dashboard without obstruction my view in the windshield. Although this location is not as smooth as recommended, but does have a fine-grained design, it appears to stick quite well, but only time will tell if this is a long-term location. As mentioned above, luckily, I do have alternative locations and they provided extra 3M mounting pads.Supplied with the unit are two additional adhesive patches in case you need to move the mount to another location, an Allen wrench to allow you to tighten the hinge screws after you have found the desired position and angle, a metal ring to mount on cases that are not MagSafe, a plastic ring that can be affixed to the phone mounting surface in case the magnet is too strong, extra washers for the mounting base thumb screw and hinges, alcohol wipe and drying towel to assist in removing any surface grease and instruction manual.The alcohol wipe and drying towel are very small (about 2”x2”) but is adequate for single use cleaning the mounting surface.Since the base can be positioned in any position in 360 degrees, it allows the arm to be position in either an upward position allowing the phone to be mounted sitting above the base, or can be rotated in the downward position such the phone mount is below the mount base (depending on where you positioned the base of the phone mount), so these options might be considered when selecting your mounting location. These positions are illustrated on the product page, which makes this design most attractive when choosing a phone mount for your care. It is theoretically possible to mount on the windshield, but state laws may prohibit this mounting position. And the beauty of this design, is with the thumb screw on the base, you can always change your mind at anytime without having to remove the mount from the mounting position.I like this phone mount and I believe if you purchase it, you will like it too.

Time will tell how the finish holds up, but out of the box the finish is beautiful, and the mount itself is beautifully machined/cast, with delicate, sweeping curves in the extension arm, just as you see in the photos. It comes with an allen/hex wrench to tighten the screws once you have it where you want it. The base also unscrews from the base cover, making it easy to put the base where you want it, and to leave it for the recommended 24 hours for the adhesive to set, without any weight on it. The magnet itself is very strong, and they recommend you remove the phone by sliding it sideways rather than yanking. In the box were a wet/dry cleaning combo, a steel ring to stick onto phones that don't have magnets in them already, a sectioned sticker for putting on the mount's magnet to weaken the hold a bit, 2 extra 3M base stickers, and 3 small plastic washers that seem to be replacements for the one between the base and base cover (not sure why you'd need 3 except that they're tiny and easy to lose). I should also mention that I have one of those magnetic ring attached to the back of my phone's case, with the ring-shaped "kickstand." I wasn't sure it was work well with the mount, but it works perfectly. All things considered, this is an excellent phone mount. Recommended.

I've been using this with a magsafe case for my S23 ultra in my vehicle. The magnet is very strong and holds well.The mount itself is actually solid and on the weighty side. Make sure you have the mount attached for a day or so before you place your phone on it for solid adhesion in your vehicle.The mount itself will swivel with two bars and also swivel on the mounted portion back and forth after mounted. Very convenient to find the perfect spot and angle in your vehicle.I've had a pretty good experience with it with no issues. I will reiterate that the mount itself is surprisingly heavy. Solid metal for sure.It comes with extra 3m adhesives if needed as well as a sticker to place on top of the magnet itself if you would like for the magnet to be a little less difficult to pull your phone off with.If you have a magsafe phone or case, this is a great mounting kit for your vehicle. Overall I recommend it. Great product.
