I bought my Pixel 8 in October 2023 and since nowadays smartphones don't come with a charger, I was looking for it on the website and found this one. It had very high ratings when I bought it and was close to original pricing, but I got a deal and purchased it at Rs.1699 (still high price). It worked flawlessly for 4-5 months, but then it showed it true colors.I was convinced that it was an original charger due to its fast charging and no abnormal speed/fluctuations happening. Then it just died down after a few months of usage.Whenever I used to charge it, the percentage just stays at the point where I plugged in the charger if it was 25% then it will stay at 25% and sometimes it used to reverse charge it, meaning it would drop below 25 then 24 then 23 like this.Checked with different quality cables, but no use. Now I only use the wire it came with and am still using my old Pixel 2 charger that came with the box at that time. It still works good, just that its slow since it is 20w.I think the only authentic and original charger is present on Flipkart since Google website redirects you to only 1 retailer i.e. Flipkart.

The media could not be loaded. It was working fine for 10months. However for the price I expect the adapter to function properly for atleast a few years.It begins to charge and abruptly stops and starts charging again, and i don’t even see an increase in battery percentage too.There is no point in paying for this charger because adapters cheaper than this are working for more than 3+years.
