Love this collar, tho I do wish there were more glow-in-the-dark designs ...pleeease❣️ Mice & squirrels would be awesome 😺😺Last purchase was, at least several years ago (they ...and it's amazing glow last that long❣️), but kept 4gtng to do review on them. Sadly, I purchased a different, non-glowing brand ...bc I liked the design better ...but it's so not the same as one that glows-in-the-dark❣️❣️ Only reason I'm replacing previous Rogz glow-in-the-dark collar is bc over the YEARS it has gotten (just somewhat) stretched out, which is kinda strange cuz it seems to be made of quite durable materials❣️I've never had any issue with it (breaking, falling apart or NOT-glowing)❣️❣️ Only experience i have regarding its break away mechanism, thankfully, is from my two cats rough housing where they inadvertently kick/catch it and it opens. I feel confident, tho I do test each one I buy by pulling lightly on it, tht it will keep my cats safe from getting hung up somewhere IN the house or OUTside if they would happen to dart out! ...and Stue has, occasionally 😕🙀😡 so I'm buying one for him 2day, plus a glow-in-the-dark ghost tag, even tho he IS microchiped !! I'll likely get one for Beans as well, as it's just so nice to "note" their presence, in the dark❣️Tripping on a cat in the hallway, on the steps ...or wherever, is avoidable wen it's collar glows softly❣️❣️❣️ Plus "Who did it"is easily BUSTED❣️🙀❣️🤭I do hope the quality is still the same, tho everything these days tends to leave much to b desired! (I pray this collars quality will always b durable & long lasting❣️)That said, it is a bit heavier than most (last purchase), therefore, I wld recommend only using on adult cats or kittens with heavier/ thicker fur!! Reason is twofold, another reviewer ...and my cat Stue, have both had their fur rubbed off around their necks by heavier collars! Stue's was a different brand, tho abt the same weight as this collar! His fur grew back and he no longer has that issue, thankfully❣️ If you do use on kittens, just be aware & keep watch❣️❣️There is one other glow-in-the-dark "collar" on Amazon for cats, but i do not have any experience with it.I hope my review helps you make an informed decision❣️Thx for reading! At long last, I found A COLLAR THAT STAYS ON after losing lots of money on various collars and tags that get lost week after week (sometimes the same day!) by our six indoor/outdoor cats and trying various brands of cat collars that ranged from $2.50 to $8 each with breakaway, reflective and as light as possible being my requirements!! I love the adjustable lock that you can set depending on your cat's weight/strength (kitten/teen/adult), Rogz is the only brand that has this! This collar glows even under dim lighting so you can't step on/sit on your cat in the dark/in bed, in addition to being very reflective at night, the glow is impressive in the daytime. I also use the loop holding the bell to attach the name tag instead.Initally worried that the "white" color would not contrast enough with my white cats' fur, but discovered the glow stands out regardless of fur color. Now I don't have to worry about them ever getting lost and unidentifiable as our pets. They are also micro-chipped but I always make sure they wear collars with name tags that have their name, our home address and phone number on it.I have also been satisfied by another collar by Rogz that has all the same features (breakaway, adjustable, reflective) except that it does not "glow" after being exposed to sunlight although it is HIGHLY REFLECTIVE when any light bounces off it and an excellent choice for added variety in color/pattern choices. The money saved from these collars that stay on allows me to purchase back-up collars (just in case), quality engraved name tags and new treats & toys for them :-)************************************************************Several months later, they're still the best collars on the market:GOLD FISH color: primarily cream strap with subtle dark gray reflective trim, blue bubbles are varying shades of sky blue NOT turquoise, goldfish are a golden color with black outlines; this collar looks best on cats with calico coats or with "Siamese/Snowshoe/Himalayan" coloring if they are brown/tan/cream or gray/white or blue/cream, however it is not limited to cats with those coats as it is PERFECT on my Apollo (indoor/outdoor cat) who has all snow-white fur, one stunning sapphire blue eye and one dazzling golden amber eye and an amazing personality to match!************************************************************TWO YEARS later... Updating in late August 2013, these are still my go-to collars and I continue to purchase these as gifts for other friends "owned by cats". I also stock up in different colors (back-ups) for those rare times a collar is temporarily misplaced in the home/yard due to getting cat due to rough play or stuck in branches chasing squirrels; it is good to know that this stay put collar does release when needed. Please note that they sometimes re-set themselves to lowest lock setting and must be re-set to highest/strongest lock before putting back on friends. They are THE ONLY COLLARS I recommend to my vet, other rescuers/fosters or anyone that asks. For the two older cats that are the least active and now never lose their collars, I replace these annually just so they look new as they get soiled with time; two who are very active need two replacements a year and the other two Houdini cats that constantly get in impossible places and are avid hunters outdoors, need 3 annually; I always keep back-ups for all 6 kitties with name tags attached (complete with addresses and phone number) so no one is ever naked before I start trying to track the collar because they are indoor/outdoor cats that have hunting territories spanning several blocks!! Not only are these collars awesome but they are so cool-looking!! We get lots of compliments and I never hesitate to tell them to get these!!

I bought this for my black indoor cat who loves to both escape outside and to lie in doorways in the middle of the night when you have to use the bathroom. It's an awesome collar! It's a lot more durable than I expected, the reflective feature allows me to breathe easier if he gets out and runs into the road, and while it's charged up the glow in the dark is pretty strong. The only issue is that it doesn't glow for very long.This collar managed to solve one of my two problems at least. I still must brave the nightly treks to the bathroom and risk sudden claws in the ankle. Oh well, that's what phone flashlight are for I suppose.

I purchased this for one of my cats over six months ago and she's been wearing it since then. Apart from not looking as new it remains much the same with extremely little wear and tear or colour fading and appears to have plenty of life left in it. I'd call that good value because we all know what can happen to collars sometimes: fraying along the edges, material rubbing, and it just generally looking shabby. Not the case with this!One thing I will say is that the "glow" aspect doesn't seem to be there, but since that wasn't much of a factor to me I'm not too bothered.I would certainly recommend this, and will purchase again when she finally manages to demolish this one.

My fave collar ever... and Paddington the Naughty Fuzzball gets through quite a few!! However, as it stands, this collar seems to be foxing him because it's been on him a few months now and he STILL HAS IT! Woooop! It also glows in the dark and makes him look like a superfun glowy alien shadow. :)Sept 15 Update: Well, Paddington finally lost his collar after a particular bout of sparrow/mice bush hunting... Whilst it's a total PITA that I have to buy yet another collar, I do feel happy that the safety catch has been incredibly strong to keep him collared for 3-4 months AND still release him if he really gets stuck. The glow in the dark feature is so cute when he comes in at night to tell me he's home (waking me up with a loud "Mow!" and then glowing like a mini-alien-thing. Being a black cat, you can't see Pads in the dark, only his glow! :) Recommend this product ten times over. Yes, it's expensive in comparison to other collars but it's worth every penny for the quality and the alien-loveliness!

This is a high quality collar.I wondered how it would be any better than the cheap £3 ones you find all over every pet store. This is so much more.So I brought it because of the design, I found it humorous that my cat would have fish beckoning her from her collar.What I did find, is that her cheap £3 collar was starting to fray after a few months of use, the safety lock would pull apart easily, rendering the collar useless should she have gotten lost.This replacement collar is quite the opposite of that cheap one, not only is it soft to touch and squidgy, it is strong and the clasp is still a safety clasp but doesn't just drop off when pull gently at the wrong angle.I went on to find that it is reflective, always helpful should she be out at night near cars.It has a glow in the dark effect too, and fairly long lasting so you can see her sneaking up under your toes during the night ;)A quality product I would recommend to all, worth the extra pounds and then some.

I was absolutely delighted to receive that product. It is looking great, glowing in the dark when exposed to the light before and also reflects the light! But the most important feature was : safety buckle, new design: you can choose firmness, it depend on the weight of the cat. Unfortunately the first ( I bought two) buckle broke after a week, another one after three weeks. The same problem: the insert of the buckle popped out, most probably when she was scratching the neck. I am very disappointed because I really care about my cats' safety and that kind of a buckle seemed to be the best one. I am going to ask for refund :-(

I bought this to replace my girl's previous rogz glowcat collar as it seemed to be quite dull after a year's wear. I didn't realise how dull it was until we replaced it! These collars glow so well, even in the shade during day time we can see a feint glow. Would highly recommend these collars, especially for dark cats.
