I keep this in my jeep. Compact and lightweight. I use it for hardcopy paper maps in the even gps is down or out of service. It magnifies map symbols nicely and very helpful when its dark. The 'co-pilot' loves it as she doesnt have to juggle a flashlight and a magnifier together, just use this. 2 AA batteries. Bright light. Anything with small print this helps esp in low light.

Cute and compact. It falls over easily and that is a problem. If something sits on the stand to hold it in place it works well.
