MGM PRODUCTS METAL BATHROOM BASIN WASTE FLIP TOP SWIVEL SLOTTED IN CHROME

I bought this product as I was keen to have a robust, brass back-nut which this has. Previously I had been sent two other flip basin wastes (both different) as substitutes for this one. The substitutes both had plastic back-nuts but these were robust enough not to cause concern. All 3 have been in use for about 2 months now and of the 3 this is the worst in that it does not look as high a quality product and the flip plug closes so easily that now it will occasionally flop into the closed position. This is not a major issue as there is a basin overflow should I not turn the tap off fully but ...

The washers supplied are thick black rubber washers, which do their job of keeping water out, but are not as discrete as previous waste which had thin silicone washers as pictured. Unfortunately my old washers were damaged. I fitted to a chromed bottle trap, but had to cut the threaded pipe. Otherwise the plug works well and looks like it will do better than my previous pop-up which failed.

Just what I wanted to replace pop-up type. So easy to fit.Not as good value as one bought previously so only 4 stares there.

Really pleased with it did order one else where but returned it due to this one being half the priceand more or less the same product

The component that arrived was not exactly the same as the one described and pictured in the advert. It was not sufficiently different for me to return it, so I fitted it and it works well. I would have given it five stars but for the fact that it was not exactly what I ordered.

Very easy to fit, I am a 27 year old female who manages her own diy essentially by looking in YouTube and giving it my best shot. This was easy for me to fit after using YouTube so suss out how to take the old one out.Cheap price and looks great!

looks great.Easy to fit. nice qualityjust remember that it has a larger hole underneath i e no filter to stop the earbuds dropping down.But that is no problem unless you have clumsy children!!

The photo is nothing like the product. It does not have a Brass back nut or the 2 seals shown in the photo. the slot is also much further down the stem so beware if fitting to an older sink. Photo also shows a ruber seal on the swivel plug....guess what....this isnt on the actual product either.....really poor show
