Good savory flavor
I’m fairly new to the idea of savory tea, but I do love drinking bone broth sometimes as a little snack that also warms me up on a cold day. This fits into that same category - it doesn’t really seem like a tea, but a broth. With a pinch of salt it is even more brothy. It has a good flavor and is a nice alternative to having a super salty broth mix.

Interesting....
Okay, I admit, I waited way too long to try this because it just sounded unappetizing. I'm a huge fan of vegetable broth and pretty liberal with spicing my soups and stews, and I like to think I'm adventurous in tasting herbal teas, but I've stared at this little zipper pouch on my counter for weeks now feeling a bit of buyer's regret and a tinge of uncertainty. Today, I finally took the plunge. The flavor was surprisingly savory and almost salty. It packs quite a punch of taste. I think perhaps the seller would be much better off not calling this a "tea" because that seemed to be my biggest turn-off. Thinking of it as a sipping broth made much more sense, and it was definitely palatable. I personally am not a fan of some specific herb in there (I think it is thyme, which is actually one of the last ingredients but the taste of whichever green herb somewhat overpowered). But obviously, that's a personal thing and not an indictment of the broth itself. I can easily imagine using this to spice up a soup or noodle dish (for someone else). I don't think it would even need much tweaking, except that a hint of lemon would be a great complement to it.So overall, don't be shy like I was. If this is your taste profile preference, forget the "tea" and indulge in this for a cozy filler, a soothing sip when feeling under the weather, or as part of a diet lunch, or add to other dishes for an instant zip of savory flavor.

Awesome and weird at the same time
This tea is awesome, but I do have to admit that the first sip had a bit of a "What the heck is this??" moment. Is it tea? Is it broth? The savory quality is undeniable, but it really hits the spot some times.I don't necessarily drink tea for health benefits, and "adaptogenic" seems like such a buzzword these days, but this tea is great if you are tired of fruity or the "regular" herbal teas

Hmmm
I don't think this should be called tea. It tastes more like a curry broth or something similar. I don't know how to describe it other than what I've tasted before. That being said, I only finished a portion of the cup because I kept wanting tea but tasting the curry-like broth until I gave up. This tea is something.... I just can't figure out what the something is...

Needs more garlic or something and less of something
I found this unpleasant as a drink and can't imagine what I would use it to cook with. The best I can describe it is to me it tastes like how old books smell.

Would recommend.
Good savory taste. Personally I've been looking for something to replace the old numi savory tea, although not as pungent. I would highly recommend following the instructions found on the bag for the best tasting experience.

Interesting.
This "tea" has a very savory and salty taste. I added bone broth to it and it took away some of the sharp herby taste. I normally love an herb taste but it did have a touch too much maybe? It was odd because I kept thinking of this as a tea as I prepared it and I am such a huge tea fan but this tastes so different. It was completely savory and not tea-like at all. Kind of bizarre. It didn't give me any feelings of "calmness" which I was bummed about. I wasn't fasting at the time I took this so perhaps that is why. I will try again when I have a fasting day.

Santorini Spice Savor tea sachets smell wonderful
The Vigrs Savory Tea Pyramid Sachets, Santorini Spice, smell wonderful! I brewed these in chicken broth to make soup. The taste was quite mild, but I probably should have used more than 2 tea bags based on the amount of liquid that I was cooking with. When I used these to make rice, I infused the broth with the tea prior to cooking the rice, and then used the broth to make rice. The rice was very tasty. These tea sachets are a different way to add adaptogenic ingredients into your diet. It would be helpful if I could find out how much of these adaptogenic ingredients are in each tea bag or each serving. These have an expiration date of 9/28/2025, so about a year. I suppose these could be kept in the refrigerator to help extend the shelf life.Liked that these tea sachets are mixed and packaged in the USA, but the ingredients themselves are sourced globally There is quite a bit of product information on the company's website, so I feel like this is an established and reliable company. These are worth a try, but it is a bit costly per serving
