I looked at so many others , decided on this one .. So pleased I did , I have very sensitive eyes ,so LED lights are not good for me ! ... This light is so perfect , you can reduce the lighting to suit your needs and it has a memory , so you don't need too start at the beginning again ... Much kinder for your eyes ...

This looks great clipped to my upright piano and angled horizontally. The choice of lightly is also an advantage and totally adequate for reading music without other supporting lights.

Just what I needed

Wanted something that blended in and was unobtrusive yet functional and capable. Decided to get one of these.From the top ~ the lamp head is a glossy black plastic with silver trim, it's about the same size and even looks a bit like an iphone7.The led array is behind a diffused panel.Being led the head doesn't get hot and is ultimately far cheaper to run.The flexible stem has proven reliable in the sense that the lamp stays where you place it. It doesnt feel loose at all.The clamp is reassuringly stiff so even on thinner surfaces it doesn't move about as you redirect your light source. It has hard foam pads that will protect your furniture.The power cable is over four feet long ~ about 1.2m ~ so ample reach...the function box is very instinctive, so simple and the built in battery last's ages. With the usb end, you have the option to run power from your desktop/plug adaptor/ laptop. Useful if you fancy sitting away from a regular wall socket.The light modes are nice ~ three modes ; cool daylight/ daylight/ warm these coupled with the stepped dimmer function allows you to really set the correct mood for your eyes as you want it.We have found it perfect for what we wanted ~ a down facing light for desktop paperwork/ focussed light. It has happily replaced the standard 'bedside table lamp' that was there, we have a far more flexible light and more desk space too !Yep, we like it !
