I have love these for years but you can't always find them.My daughter is pregnant and has nausea so I checked Amazon and they were there!Lots of ginger!

Nice flavor bite
I was impressed with the flavor profile on these for hard candy. I heard some people refer to them like a caramel ginger hard candy. I put it in between a Weather's Original and a Brach caramel w/ a big ginger bite. They are enjoyable!

Ginger is so good for you and these make it easy.
I love these! Chewy, but, not too chewy. They hit the spot when I have a craving for candy. The fact that it has actual concentrated ginger in them is a plus. I used to take these in my cary-on bag just in case of tummy troubles. (Kinda like ginger ale, but, in a candy wrapper instead of a can). They taste like peppery ginger, and not to sweet.

Gin Gins in 4 layers of packaging
The Gin Gins themselves are great. But wow, getting them to your mouth is like going through a Russian nesting doll of plastic. I guess we don't count the plastic Amazon mailing pouch the whole thing comes in. But once you throw that into the ocean, the Gin Gin package is (1) shrink wrapped in plastic, then you have a (2) cardboard box — the only thing recyclable. After that all goes in the landfill, there's a (3) plastic bag with all the contents. And finally, each Gin Gin is (4) individually wrapped in, wait for it, plastic. So every session of stomach-calming Gin Gin enjoyment results in a torrent of cellophane blowin in the wind. Maybe the Gin Gin company is determined that even if a trans-Pacific shipping container full of Gin Gins on its way to a land of agitated bellys falls off the ship and ends up on the bottom of the sea, they're sending a Gin Gin submersible to retrieve it from Davy Jones' Locker and complete the delivery, because those Gin Gins are water-tight up to a thousand fathoms. My advice if you have an upset tummy: grab a box-cutter, fire up the trash baler, and pop yourself a couple o' Gin Gins, dear friends. Four stars.
