Why did you pick this product vs others?:Looking for something like old school shortbread with jam cookie I found this outstanding mini pastry treat. Bite sized you get all of the lovely filo like pastry and the cherry is slight, not overbearing and not overtly sugary. Love these!

When you bite into one of these vanilla-cream-filled pastries they taste a bit like a puff pastry and then you experience the creamy filling. These seem shelf stable with an expiration date out 6 months so that is good.The ingredients include: Palm oil, sunflower oil, sugar, corn starched, skimmed milk powder, dextrose, white chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, emulsifier, sunflower lecithin, flavorings, vanilla, natural flavorings, emulsifier, sunflower lecithin), wheat flour, vegetable margarine (palm oil, sunflower oil, water), sugar, salt, butter.May contain traces of nuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, and soy.These are as good as homemade and are a great idea for dessert with a cup of hot decaf coffee after dinner.I think for an imported product this is a really great value with 16 pastries per package and four large packages! For a total of 64 pastries at 39 cents per pastry.They are sure delicious! Yum! Try eating just one! Serving size is 4 pieces at 180 calories per serving.~The Rebecca Review

good tasting but too expensive

pastries were good except for the pastries on the bottom. they were crumbled to pieces in both tins. very unsatisfied.

These are very dry and would benefit from a bit more filling. It would be ok, I guess, if I was a dunker but I am not. The taste is good though.

These are soooo good. A crunchy croissant like outside with a delicious cream filling. Yum

This has become my favorite cookie to have with my afternoon coffee break. I love the crisp pastry crunch, and then the smooth, creamy sweetness of the filling comes bursting through to my palate...where have these little beauties been all my life?!
