A Soothing Evening Staple - Calming Without Being Overpowering
I’ve been drinking Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Extra Tea in the evening for well over 10 years, and it’s become a comforting ritual for me. This herbal blend helps you relax and creates a gentle calming effect that makes winding down far easier.Compared with the classic Sleepytime tea from the same range, the addition of valerian in Sleepytime Extra gives it a slightly deeper, more calming character while still keeping that familiar herbal taste. The flavour is mellow and pleasant, not overly strong or bitter, making it more enjoyable than some basic chamomile‑only bedtime teas. For anyone who likes a relaxing, comforting cup in the evening to help slow your thoughts and settle down before bed, this has been absolutely reliable for me over the years. Highly recommended.

Love this stuff
Love this tea - have drunk it for years and great to be able to get it in the uk easily

Great stuff - Actually works (for insomnia)!
Great product which actually helps me with sleeping. Quite potent I think compared to some products I've tried, because as well as inducing better sleep I have weird dreams (nothing bad, but I joke about it with family). Presumably that's the valerian. Such a relief to have something to fall back on when I need it (like now - thinking about ordering again, and thought I'd leave a review too).

It's good but...
On the one hand I fall asleep easier. On the other hand I have to get up loads to wee. Hmm. It tastes nice. The drink, I mean.

A staple in our bedtime routine
I have been enjoying Sleepytime Tea from Celestial Seasonings and its benefits for years now. Recently my husband has had trouble sleeping so has started drinking a mug of Sleepytime Extra approx. an hour before bed. He has since commented on how he feels much more relaxed at bedtime, and it has now become a staple in our nightly routine. The tea has a pleasant, refreshing taste that isn’t too overpowering.

Works for me
Pleasant taste. Helps me sleep through the night with no effects at all in the morningBeen using this brand for many years and no complaints - except may be a little expensive now and 3 boxes is a lot, but use them all eventually and better than being without.

The tea just before your bedtime tea
Tastes nice, I didn't feel particularly relaxed or sleepy afterwards though.
