Easy to use
I love this for preserving foods. I use it for meats I want to freeze for later. I found it is great for preserving a cut avocado. simply put it in a bag, vacuum the bag and it stays fresh for days. Also good for coffee beans kept in bags with a exhaust valve for gas emitted from the beans. Keeps them fresher much longer. Easy to use and would like to eventually purchase an adapter to use instead of batteries. Would buy again

So far So Good
Very useful for someone who doesn't feel a need to start a food packaging operation. Handles the food storage situations that most people have from time to time. I purchase Grass Fed beef from Marx foods about 3 times a year and receive a monthly delivery from grassrootscoop.com (both highly recommended). Use this device to vacuum package diner portions. Does the job nicely and easily. It remains to see how durable it is and how many times the bags can be reused, as they are not cheap. It both questions are answered in the positive... then this is an exceptional device.

Doesn't work with accessories
I bought it to seal jars with, it's unable to attach to the accessory for jar sealing. It may work great it may work horribly for sealing the bags, I don't know. I do know that it doesn't work to seal jars so I am returning it unused.

This product did not work at all!
I followed the instructions re installing the batteries and I could not get the device to turn on. I bought new batteries, thinking that the batteries were the issue. The new batteries did not work either. I am very displeased!
