Boka Toothpaste - Fluoride Free Toothpaste, Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste

I have been using this Boka toothpaste and have been really pleased with it so far. I wanted to try a fluoride-free toothpaste with nano hydroxyapatite, and this one has been easy to incorporate into my normal brushing routine. The texture is smooth and it spreads easily across the teeth without feeling overly thick or abrasive. The Ela Mint flavour is one of the things I particularly like. It gives a clean, fresh feeling after brushing but isn't as strong or intense as some traditional mint toothpastes. This makes it pleasant to use in the morning and before bed, especially if you prefer a milder flavour. I also appreciate the straightforward formula. It doesn't contain sulfates or parabens, and the vegan formulation is another positive for me. The 113g tube is a good size for everyday use and the packaging is simple and easy to handle. I've found it comfortable to use on my teeth and gums, including when my teeth have felt a little sensitive. It leaves my mouth feeling clean and refreshed without the strong burning sensation that some toothpastes can have. The smooth consistency also makes it easy to rinse away after brushing. I am very happy with this Boka toothpaste. I like the mild flavour, smooth texture and gentle feel, and it has been an enjoyable change from stronger mint toothpastes. If you're specifically looking for a fluoride-free toothpaste containing nano hydroxyapatite, this has been a good option for my daily routine.

Love this toothpaste, the dentist tried to put me of of purchasing it,but i can see the difference ,ive been using it for over 2 weeks, prior to boka i used marvis whitening but it made my gums really sore,so i asked my dental hygienist freind who recommended boka, it tastes mild, and really does leave teeth clean, remember not to rinse or use mouthwash or eat and drink for half and hour otherwise it doesnt work as it should. Just spit, leave the rest to do its magic. There is clinical evidence that it helps with the strength of teeth and gums mine are no longer tender, no more sensitivity when i eat or drink,no matter the temperature, this took about a week to achieve with the sensitivity. i had some cracks just visible,i no longer have them, dont let the dentists dictate to you, they want you to keep coming back to them, and buy the rubbish that they endorse and charge you stupid prices for. Yes boka isn't cheap,in my opinion it is worth it.

My Experience with Boka's Coco Ginger Toothpaste I’ve been using the Boka Coco Ginger toothpaste for several months. I specifically chose this flavour because I find the traditional "minty burn" of most toothpastes too stimulating, especially before bed. This blend is a much more relaxing alternative. Why I Like It: • Gentle & Soothing: The combination of Aloe Vera and Chamomile appeals to me. It feels incredibly soothing on my gums and provides a gentle clean without the harsh, stinging sensation of menthol.🌿🌼 • Sensitivity Support: As someone with sensitive teeth, the nano-hydroxyapatite (n-Ha) has been effective. It’s a science-backed, biocompatible alternative to fluoride that helps remineralize enamel, and I’ve noticed less discomfort with cold drinks. • Perfect for Nighttime: The warm ginger and coconut flavour is calming and doesn’t "wake up" my senses right before I try to sleep. 💤 Important "Dealbreakers" to Consider: • No Foam: If you prefer a foamy toothpaste, this isn't for you. It is SLS-free, so it has a creamy, non-lathering consistency that takes some getting used to. • Xylitol-Free: This specific flavor is xylitol-free. While this is a "pro" for those who want to avoid sugar alcohols or have pets (since xylitol is toxic to dogs), the "con" is that you miss out on the additional bacteria-fighting benefits found in Boka's mint flavors. Why I’m Giving It 4 Stars 💷💷: While the product is excellent, it is quite expensive for a 4oz tube. Between the premium price and the learning curve of a non-foaming paste, it’s a 4-star investment for me rather than a perfect 5. Suggestions for Improvement: • Sustainability: I’d love to see Boka offer an aluminum tube option to reduce plastic waste. • Cap Design: The current twist-off cap can be fiddly; a flip-top lid would be much more convenient. • Transparency: It would be helpful if the packaging clearly stated the n-Ha percentage (like 5% or 10%) so users can better understand its remineralisation strength. 🔍 • "Boost" Versions: Offering an optional version of this flavour with xylitol included would be a great middle-ground for those who want that extra oral health "boost" without the mint.

If you have toothache buy this toothpaste immediately, it works! I've been using this toothpaste since the beginning of July, the date is now 27th August - I can now say without any doubt that this has completely cleared my toothache, I can finally drink cold drinks with ice and even crush ice with my teeth on the side where my toothache was and experience zero pain. For over a month before using this toothpaste, I couldn't even eat or drink without immediate throbbing and pain occuring, I had the most painful toothache that I've personally ever experienced. I was having trouble sleeping, I slept with cotton balls in my mouth, I was taking pain killers daily to numb the pain ~ on some of the worst days even using the pain killers didn't help. It's a little pricier than your standard toothpaste, but I will now continue to keep buying this to avoid that agonising toothache I had returning.

Claims to be SLS free but has it on the ingredients list.. other than that the toothpaste is pretty good and tastes nice. But if you’re looking for an SLS free toothpaste specifically (as I was), maybe look elsewhere

I did quite a lot of research before purchasing this. I was specifically looking into nano-hydroxyapatite as a fluoride alternative, as it mirrors the mineral structure of tooth enamel and is often discussed in dental research for enamel support. I currently use this in the morning and a fluoride toothpaste at night. I prefer this combination approach rather than choosing one exclusively. In terms of cleaning effectiveness, it performs very well. My teeth feel smooth and properly clean after brushing — not just fresh on the surface. It removes buildup effectively without feeling harsh. Regarding pain relief and sensitivity: this does not give an immediate numbing or desensitising effect in the way some sensitivity toothpastes (like potassium nitrate-based formulas) can. However, since switching, I haven’t experienced increased sensitivity, and my teeth feel stable and comfortable. For me, it seems to support long-term maintenance rather than providing instant pain relief. One thing I particularly like is that it doesn’t leave a gritty or chalky feeling in the mouth. The texture is smooth, slightly creamy, and comfortable. It could spread slightly more easily across the teeth, and I personally wouldn’t mind a bit more foam. However, I understand that lower-foaming formulas often avoid stronger surfactants, which may be intentional in a gentler formulation. The Mild Ela Mint flavour is subtle and not overpowering. There isn’t a strong mint burn or lingering artificial smell, but my breath still feels fresh afterwards in a clean, neutral way rather than a heavily perfumed way. Colour-wise, it’s a neutral white, which I prefer over coloured gels. The 113g size is generous and lasts well with twice-daily use. Ingredient-wise, I appreciate that it’s fluoride-free, sulfate-free, vegan, and formulated around nano-hydroxyapatite rather than just cosmetic freshness. Overall, it feels like a well-researched and effective option for ongoing enamel support and daily care.

Great works welll great taste less sensitive teeth

I have been using Boka toothpaste for over 5 years now and I can't hype it enough. I am in my late 40's and my teeth feel like I'm in my 20's again. Along with them feeling silky smooth again after every brush, I have had no plaque since using it and that's the god honest truth. My favourite flavour is the Lemon and Lavinder and the Coco and Ginger is second. Warning, the Cinamint is clover flavour. My only issue with it at the moment is that they have stopped selling these flavours in the UK and the price has sky rocketed.

What I Love Effective Against Sensitivity & Enamel Weakness Boka’s use of nano‑hydroxyapatite (n‑HA) is a game changer. My teeth were pretty sensitive, especially along the gumline, and using this paste has noticeably reduced that discomfort. It feels like my enamel is stronger, with fewer “zings” when sipping cold drinks or air hits my teeth just right. Amazon Canada +3 NewMouth +3 Influenster +3 Natural, Clean Ingredients No fluoride (in certain formulations), limited harsh chemicals, more plant‑derived flavors — all of this appeals to me. The flavor options are interesting too: Ela Mint, Lemon Lavender, Coco Ginger, etc., and they’re milder or more nuanced than your typical super‑mint blast. Reddit +3 NewMouth +3 Amazon Canada +3 Good Whitening Over Time It doesn’t act like one of those aggressive bleaching pastes that irritate gums, but over consistent use, I’ve noticed my teeth are looking brighter. Surface stains from coffee and tea have faded. Influenster +3 NewMouth +3 Ubuy Canada +3 Fresh Feeling Without Over Powering Mint The after‑feel is clean, fresh, and not harsh. If you dislike extremely minty toothpaste, Boka strikes a good balance. Influenster +3 Target +3 Amazon Canada +3 Great for Whole Family There are kid‑friendly flavors, and many reviews say it’s gentle enough for use by people with sensitive teeth and gums. Parents like that it’s safer if swallowed (depending on flavor/formulation) and that there are options beyond strong mint for kids. NewMouth +3 Amazon Canada +3 Amazon Canada +3 Things to Keep in Mind (Why It’s Not a 6‑Star!) Not that anything is bad — just a few minor trade‑offs: Price: It’s more expensive than many standard mass‑market toothpastes. But in my opinion, the extra cost is worth the benefits. Amazon Canada +1 Foam / Texture: It doesn’t foam up as much or behave exactly like “regular” toothpaste. That might bother people used to strong foaminess. Target +1 Flavor is Subjective: Some people love the herbal/floral flavors (like Lemon Lavender or Coco Ginger), others find things like Ela Mint a bit unusual or “off” depending on their prior toothpaste experience. NewMouth +1 Overall Verdict If you’re looking for a toothpaste that: Helps with sensitivity Supports enamel health Uses more natural ingredients Offers gentle whitening …then Boka is definitely one of the best out there. This is my “go‑to” toothpaste now. I’ll keep using it, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting something gentler than the standard mint‑blast formulas but still very effective.

I’ve been using Boka toothpaste, and I want to share my full experience compared to other non-Boka toothpastes I used before. I bought two Boka types and started with the charcoal one. I haven’t tried the second one yet. Boka is free from ingredients like fluoride, artificial dyes, parabens, titanium dioxide, baking soda, and other strong additives commonly found in many regular toothpastes. With other toothpastes I used before, the feeling after brushing was always very heavy in my mouth. It often felt like a chemical coating or a very intense sensation that stayed on my teeth and gums. Even though it is often described as mint or mouthwash-like, for me it felt more like an overly strong, detergent-like product that stayed in my mouth. With Boka toothpaste, I don’t feel that at all. After brushing, there is no lingering sensation—no chemical coating, no overpowering taste, and nothing that stays in my mouth afterward. My mouth just feels clean and normal in a simple way. Another important difference for me is that after using Boka, I feel comfortable right away. My teeth look very clean, and I feel free to eat or drink normally without any unpleasant after-feeling in my mouth. Overall, this toothpaste feels much more comfortable for me than other toothpastes I used before. I appreciate the experience it gives, and I’m very satisfied with it so far. I also appreciate the company for creating this product, and I hope they continue offering it in the same way.

Good paste
