No, the stars will fade in then out (In a loop). But you can turn off the stars, or dim the galaxy light via remote or button on the beside of star projector

The light and music works great just as described. Has multiple different settings makes the room look awesome. Only complaint I have is it doesn't cover the whole room very well I wish I would have ordered two. Nothing to do with the company maybe the room is just bigger than expected.

Remote stinks, got hot and stopped working

Ive had this projector for about a year now. For $16 it was pretty good while it lasted. Upon opening the box, the remote had a heavy chemical smell that never really went away. Last night, the remote stopped working. It got really hot and smelled really bad like chemicals and burnt plastic so I removed the batteries and threw it away. Messaged the seller and asked if I could buy a replacement remote but I didn’t get an answer. So I bought a better projector which costed more but im sure it will be worth it
