Review: excellent for the age - This book -- and all the "180 days of..." books are terrific for homeschoolers. One or two pages a day -- easy to do. Interesting subjects. Writing at the end of a day -- just a sentence or two -- is encouraged. Reading is solid 3rd grade level, so parent standing by will be good for hard words. Whoever did this series did an excellent job. Review: We LOVE these 180 Days books! - We LOVE these books! (And love the tear out pages!) Can be used as homeschool science or supplemental science resources. They cover a broad range of topics: nature, life cycles, the scientific method, data analyzation, and more. Not a teaching book but there are answers in the back for checking.

Good Workbook
This is a great workbook for homeschooling more than schools’ usage. But it’s good practice for your children. I highly recommend this workbook because has the concepts and gives you plenty of exercises to learn through practice.

Love this company
180 days is my kids favorite curriculum. We buy 10 for their grade levels. There are so many options to chose from. My children have tried many curriculums over the years. They find 180 days both enjoyable and easy to know what to expect.

Great For Homeschool
Excellent day to day curriculum. I love that it has day to day work and a cd to use. Very helpful when trying to give work on a day to day basis and follow the 180 day school calendar. While still teaching what has to be taught everyday without getting frustrated these books are perfect.

Engaging, well-rounded, and easy to use
Nothing but good comments. As with all the books in this series, this is not a standalone science curriculum. If it were, you would be missing quite a bit in biology and earth science study. However, it is a well-rounded supplement, with worksheets on life cycles, magnets, force, simple astronomy, seasons, etc. If you're looking for some engaging, no-prep, 15-minute worksheets to add to an existing science curriculum to fill in gaps and keep students engaged, then this is an excellent resource.
