I’ve used these chaps once. They are well constructed. The only thing that’s a miner nuisance is that the belt strap rides up when I bend over. All I do to correct this issue is pull it down when I stand up straight.

These chaps are comfortable and protect my legs.

They have lasted me 2.5 years but they're quality has certainly diminished, the pocket sits too low and if you put your phone in it you'll break your phone because the second you kneel down to pick up something the phone will break in half. The pocket is located right on the left knee...Also the flimsy clips break too easily.All that aside I haven't hit my chainsaw against my leg and therefore do not know if they will in fact stop the chain...

For someone that cuts firewood all year you have to have something. No question an accident will happen and you should have as much protection as you can and still be able to work. I have not and hope to never had these actually protect my leg. But other reviews show they work. I am 5'7" and if I use the snap up adjustment they seem a little too high. They sit comfortably low covering the top of my boot unsnapped. I have used them for several full days climbing on and off the tractor and cutting wood with no issues. Very comfortable and fit well. The pocket is useless though. The orange matches my Kubota and Stihl and if I ever get hurt cutting firewood hopefully they allow me to be found quickly.

I have used the a couple times, the fit is good. I wear a 40 waist. They just have enough belt to fit me. But the fit once adjusted is good, the length is good, I have 35” inseam. I’d like them to be about 1-2” longer for a bit more ankle protection. They do fit, and to have them too long in the brush is bad, but I am a chainsaw carver. As far as do the work, we’ll that is too be seen, and I hope I never have to find out. They are a good feel, appear to be made well. I’d buy again.

Hopefully they will protect if needed. My biggest complaint is the waist buckling. It really is dysfunctional. If you tighten it only loosens as you work that has them falling off. My work around is a bungee cord around the waist. This does hold them up for me.Be prepared.

Good value for the money. They were a gift for our son, he loves them!

Never had a pair of chaps before, they seem to be a very high quality, great leg length and dont feel overly heavy. May not ever need them to stop a chainsaw, but will be money well spent even if they only save me once.

Good fit

Easily adustable for a person's size. Easy to clean . Durable material . Would recommend this product to backyard woodcutter!
