Works out the box no issues. Perfect when using A/C machines that don't have inject oil function(R1234YF) need multiple of these for different oil types.

adding dye to automobile ac system made easy
Well made tool, simple to use, once the oil or dye is filled into the cylinder and air is purged out, just attach the coupler to the low pressure side fitting on the vehicle, start the engine and turn ac on , then rotate the outer cylinder of the tool to inject dye or oil. This oil/dye injector only works on vehicles that use the new 1234yf refrigerant system, it will not fit R134 or R12 systems. I use it to add dye to a 2019 Lexus ES350 ac system to find a leak. Excellent tool!
