Lifesaver
This cup has been an absolute lifesaver for our family. One of our children has autism and he is VERY particular about his cups. We are restricted to hard straws and a good lid because when he's done with anything, he tosses it. We used a different version of this cup for years, but over time, the insides of the lids got gross where you couldn't clean them and one by one we had to toss them out. I eventually exhausted my options for purchasing that older model and we were presented with a dilemma as he was starting school.Low and behold, this cup came across my search results. I ordered 2 with high hopes it would do the trick since the lid is the same style as the older one (with a slight upgrade when it comes to the removable seal). We ended up with a seamless transition into this cup and couldn't be happier. Even with all of the throws across the room, the lid has never failed us. Yes, sometimes liquid comes cascading up out of the straw. However, there is not one straw cup we have owned that didn't do that when the temperatures inside and outside of the cup create the perfect storm. My ONLY complaint is that the plastic used with the lid is now opaque instead of translucent. With the other model, I can see inside enough to know when it's getting gross and needs replaced. Now that the plastic is opaque, I can't see inside, so I have to just intermittently replace these as we go and hope I'm doing that in time.

Happy kiddos! Chew-proof, leak proof, and lightweight.
We've gone through many many MANY water bottles. My 4 yr old has ASD and chews on everything. He can't do the rubbery tipped straws because he destroys them. We've tried some other plastic water bottles that completely melted in the dishwasher (oops!), So I was happy to see these are dishwasher safe.We also use Simple Modern water bottles, however I like the Nuby bottles more. Simple Modern tops are kind of a pain to clean (I have to use a straw cleaner or toothpick to clean around the inside rim and gunk gets caught in the little nooks) and they leak quite a bit, unless the top is closed. The Nuby bottles are much easier to clean and don't leak! The metal Simple Modern bottles are heavy and noisy when banged around. Although they have a plastic option, they're just about the same price as the metal bottles (around $12-15). The Nuby bottles are plastic and lightweight, and they have awesome grippy rubber pads along the whole bottle. They're also quite a bit cheaper which is a plus!I would love to see more pattern options! I'll be buying more in the future.

Perfect size
My toddler doesn’t have any issues drinking from this cup. I will say that it does leak ever so slightly or if the straw isn’t placed back correctly. Otherwise, we love this bottle.

Sufficed the need
It literally did what I needed… all the previous water bottles were torn away… this one is what I needed.. and great material as well and durable.

Finally!
I have finally found a cup that my daughter can't chew! This has been a game changer! I have spent sooo much money on cups throughout the years and lo and behold, this has been the golden ticket! I'm super impressed with it and so far, so good!

Use everyday
We bought this water bottle on a trip to Europe. Total mom fail, our usual cups I forgot part of the straw and this is all we could find. My little guy just turned 13 months and he took to it immediately. It has now been everywhere with us and we just purchased a spare. He totes it around everywhere. He does need help opening the straw. Never any issues with leaking and it’s easy to clean. Must have in our house!

The only option for us!!
This is the only cup my Autistic boys can use. They chew through silicone straws so I have to have the hard plastic straw this cup has but they are 3 and 4 years old so we need the volume this cup has as well. The smaller easy grip cup is great for a backup but they have to be refilled so much cuz they are only 8 or 10oz. These cups however are 12oz so it’s perfect for them!! They were out of stock for so long and I’m so happy they’re back in, since my son threw a full cup in a meltdown and cracked one of the lids and now it leaks!! Please never stop making these cups!! And also make them in 14oz size if you can!
