Really works!
I got the M Size when I felt a intense sharp pain which took me to ER. Found that I aggravated a bursitis! Not able to hold my weight neither walk without waking sick. THIS KNEE SUPPORT REALLY HELPED ME! I used ALL DAY LONG and mi job is very physical; bending, squatting, walking, sitting.I don't know about having a without or so, but I getting a second one now after few years passed in my other knee...2 more years before really retirement Oh Yessssss.....

A great support for a painful knee
This gives me the knee support I need and in doing so relieves the pain that I otherwise have in the knee. The support's elastic along with its vertical braces really help. I chose a Medium size for my 16-inch knee (measurement around the knee) and the sizing is near-perfect, just a tad tight. I had tried another brand before I bought the Futuro and the other brand's Medium was way too tight. This Futuro is easy to pull on, but just a tad difficult to take off. To keep the support clean, the instructions are for hand washable. I did throw it into the regular machine wash load and it came out fine. But in doing so I may be limiting the life of the support. But so far, no problems. I'm not recommending machine wash - I'm just not up to doing any laundry by hand. If you have a sore knee, try the Futuro - this provides good support.

Runs very small
Had to return the first one due to sizing. The reviews stating that this runs very small are correct. I exchanged the medium for a large and it's better, but still a little constricting where the bottom of the brace fits around my calf. I have normal size calves but the seam is tight and leaves a groove around my calf. I've considered cutting a slit in the seam to loosen it up a bit because otherwise I really like the brace, but I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not. I'm keeping this one because it's comfortable (except for the bottom seam) and flexible but also stabilizing. It's really exactly what I was looking for aside from the tightness around my calf.

A good knee brace
This brace works well. I am able to walk without pain. The only issue I've had is the hole around my knee cap seems quite tight, but after a few wears it is not uncomfortable.

Very, very tight at both top and bottom of the knee sleeve.
I'm on my feet at least 16 hours a shift as a Nurse and I've been using compression sleeves for many years. When measuring around my knee in the standing position I measured right in the middle of the "Medium" size range. When it arrived I put it on and felt it provided appropriate support of my knee itself. But I realized that there was overly tight circular tightness of both the top and bottom of the sleeve. It felt as if I had placed heavy rubber bands around my legs in those 2 areas, i.e., both above and below my knee. None of my previous 3M manufactured knee sleeves, such as these and ACE have ever done this. But none of my other 3M made knee sleeves have been made with this style of circular elastic at both the top and bottom of the knee sleeve either. And to be sure...my legs haven't gotten fatter since my last purchase. I'm not comfortable wearing this particular brand of knee sleeve because of what I consider overly tight circular pressure around the top and bottom of my knee area.

Really well-made by 3M and it really works to relieve the pain in my knees
I searched at multiple drugstore and wound up returning two types that I bought online. The materials used to make them felt cheap and seemed likely to rip, or wear out in no time.At some point, somewhere I noticed the 3M logo on a Futuro package and opened the box, to check the construction. I was very happy to find a quality product and after wearing one for a couple of days I can honestly state that they work as advertised.I don't wear it everyday, but when my knee acts up I put it on and in no time the pain is gone.

Seems like a good brace, runs quite small
Important note: Amazon will not accept a return for this item because it is a drugstore/health item. Would have been nice for the description to say so before I ordered it! For the price, this seems like a well-made product. I bought it because it could be washed and wasn't made of neoprene. The fabric feels soft and the stabilizer seems to offer a lot of support. I did not actually wear it though because it is way too small - the reason for the three-star review. I measured as directed and was right on the border between a small and medium, so I bought the medium. The top of the brace gives my thigh a huge muffin top and there is no way I could wear it for hiking or walking due to the tightness. I ended up buying the Futuro support sleeve without the stabilizer at the grocery store where I could try it on and it fits/works better for my needs. If the fit works for you and you need the support of the stabilizers, I could see this being a good brace. Consider ordering at least a size up if you have muscular thighs.

Must depend on knee support.
Bought this support to prevent unexpected knee flexing. The side stabilizers do that, but the patellar opening is too small. The next larger sizewould be too big, so I'm modifying support. If this support were closed at the knee, like the other Futuro Elastic Knee Brace, which I also have, and kept the side stabilizers, it would be perfect. Have MS Secondary Progressive type, and have weakened legs, so just need moderatesupport. Many other supports are too cumbersome, so I really like Futuro. They are the best, and affordable, as well as being very durable.Everyone has unique circumstances, so for now, Futuro is the best for me.
