I've used tape like this before for guttering which had come away from the neighbours guttering (his guttering is round and mine is rectangular shaped and the connector seals have failed)This tape is exactly the same and has a very sticky and thick adhesive which helps to plug any gaps, cracks, holes etc etc for a leak free repair.Once stuck it stays stuck.This roll is wider than my other roll and will be invaluable for larger repairs such as our flat roof which has a membrane (although the roof is in good repair it's always handy to have a repair product just in case)Not only that but will come in handy for any other repair around the home where I need a larger strip of waterproofing tape.I used some of this on a cracked 100L storage tub which I needed to use when my fish tank needed a thorough clean and because it is non toxic I didn't worry about fish being near the tape. The repair was perfect and no water leaked out at all.I think for just under £12 at time of review this is a reasonable price for 4m which is a lot.The tape has a backing paper attached so you peel this then apply and can be smoothed out easily over a repair, even round bends or corners. It is very pliable.It doesn't have to be applied with precision and can literally be slapped on.Before cutting to size and applying I'd recommend cutting a small sample first to see if it sticks as some surfaces need a thorough clean and may even need a solvent cleaner to prepare the surface. This is what I had to do for the guttering repair as I discovered that the tape wouldn't stick to the plastic due to dirt and debris ingrained into the plastic. I used a little white spirit to clean the inside of the gutters, dried it off then applied the tape and then it stuck nicely.Every home needs a roll of this in my opinion.Yes it's sticky and the roll edges will literally stick to almost anything so make sure you leave the round waxed card either side of the roll or you'll have debris sticking to it.All in all this is a good waterproof repair tape that does an amazing job at sealing leaks.

This is a good wide (10cm/4") waterproof patching tape. It is easy to apply and is doing a great job. A downpipe on our garage got damaged and has been leaking water onto the path, so tried this as it was less hassle than having to replace it. Having cleaned the area, I stuck a patch on and it immediately fixed the problem. It is sticking well and has withstood torrential rain with no sign of lifting. Excellent solution to problem leaks.

Amazingly sticky tape and very thick.Ive had a pesky leak on my shed roofs guttering for the best part of a year that keeps pulling apart no matter how i adjust the guttering so thought id try this.Whilst im sure the tape would have stuck to the dusty guttering i gace it a good clean first to ensure a lasting bond and stuck a patch down across the joint.A week later and some heavy rain and we are still drip free, im really impressed.

I had high hopes for this product as I needed to seal the roof of my shed due to the rain. I followed all the instructions carefully, but unfortunately, it didn’t adhere properly and ended up coming off without providing a proper seal.It looks good but doesn't have enough glue to adhere.

This is a four metre long tape which is very versatile but is particularly good for repairing leaks and cracks. It's very thick, very strong and will provide a long lasting seal. It is UV resistant and waterproof so can be used indoors and outdoors, and also on pipes. Worth trying.

This is a great product to use on a small leak without pressure behind the water. I used it to seal a plumbing vent pipe in my attic that was dripping on my ceiling. problem solved without any special tools or calling a plumber.

This is quite possibly the stickiest and messiest tape I have ever seen, do not play around with this tape thinking you can stick it on something and then peel it off. I decided to test a small piece on a plastic toolbox and it is not coming off without scraping with a razor. This is also a very thick and heavy tape so its definitely going to hold up well and it conforms pretty good to curved surfaces even though it's thick and tough. Overall if you need a very sticky heavy and large size tape this si a great choice.

I used this to fix a hole in the underbelly lining of my RV. It's heavy duty. You have to peal off the backing, and then it's very sticky. It's way thicker than duct tape and since it's waterproof, it should stay in place for many years.
