ESTWING Gooseneck Wrecking Bar PRO - 36" Pry Bar with Angled Chisel End & Forged Steel Construction - EWB-36PS

I borrowed my sister's prybar. Hers was an old well kept heavy style. It made me want one of my own. This one is a little heavier than hers. This one will not break and last a very long time. I love it! Btw my sister and I have more tools than our husbands and we both use them and take care of them. The durability of this product is very much guaranteed. Well made!

HEAVYYea, it's that heavy.We got this to defend our business without a "weapon" due to insurance.It just sits under the register.Idk what this thing is really for, but it's a giant blue metal stick that is difficult to lift with one hand... It is awesome.We have used it to hit a bunch of different random things and it's been very useful to have.

This is a very good bar. It's just not the best I've had. The 36" Roughneck Gorrila bar is just a tad better and stronger. The Gorrila bar is a little wider and the claw end has an approx 100 degree angle whereas the Estwing has a respectable 92 or so degree angle (anything is better than a flat 90 degree angle for attempting to pry 90 degree loads). The Gorilla bar claw is also longer as well with a little more of a loop to the neck (more desirable IMO).Unfortunately for me, I gave away the Gorrila bar to my son and I needed once again. The Estwing is an excellent bar and at half the price of the Gorrila bar (of course I paid far less at the time from Northern Tools), it's a solid pick for occasional use. If you're a contractor with daily need of such a pry bar, get the Gorrila version, it is superior albeit more expensive.

I bought as a gift for my husband and he was excited to have a new tool. He said it works great and this brand is sturdy / reliable.

Great wrecking bar. Heavy duty. I doubt you could break this one. Good company. Made in the USA.
