My most honest review
I recently purchased Earthborn Elements Diatomaceous Earth to tackle a persistent roach problem in my home, and overall, I am quite pleased with the results. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:#### Effectiveness: ★★★★☆Earthborn Elements Diatomaceous Earth proved to be quite effective in dealing with the roach infestation. Within a few days of application, I noticed a significant reduction in the number of roaches. It works by damaging the exoskeleton of the insects, leading to dehydration and eventually, death. While it did not completely eradicate the problem, it made a noticeable difference and brought the roach population under control.#### Ease of Use: ★★★★★Using the diatomaceous earth was straightforward and hassle-free. The product comes in a resealable 1 gallon bucket, which makes it easy to store and keeps it dry. I applied the powder in areas where I noticed roach activity, such as under the sink, along baseboards, and behind appliances. The powder is fine and easy to distribute evenly. A little goes a long way, so the 1 gallon bucket should last for more than a couple of applications.#### Safety: ★★★★☆One of the primary reasons I chose this product is because it is a natural and non-toxic solution. It’s safe to use around pets and children, which is a huge plus for me. However, I did take precautions to ensure that the powder was not inhaled or ingested, as it can be an irritant. Wearing a mask and gloves during application is recommended.#### Value for Money: ★★★★★Considering its effectiveness and the quantity provided, Earthborn Elements Diatomaceous Earth offers excellent value for money. It’s a cost-effective solution compared to chemical sprays and traps, and since it lasts long, you won’t need to reapply frequently.#### Versatility: ★★★★★Beyond roaches, this product is also effective against other pests such as ants, fleas, and bedbugs. I appreciate its versatility, which makes it a handy tool in maintaining a pest-free home.#### Cons:- **Messiness**: Diatomaceous earth can be a bit messy to apply, especially in hard-to-reach areas. It’s important to clean up any excess powder to avoid it being tracked around the house.- **Time to Effectiveness**: Unlike chemical pesticides that kill on contact, diatomaceous earth takes time to show results. Patience is required as it works gradually.#### Conclusion:Earthborn Elements Diatomaceous Earth is a reliable and safe option for controlling roach infestations. Its natural composition and effectiveness make it a worthwhile purchase for anyone looking to manage pests without resorting to harsh chemicals. While it requires careful application and some patience, the benefits far outweigh these minor inconveniences. I would definitely recommend it to others facing similar pest issues.

Good product, bad contact, too costly
Good product, awful packaging. It’s next to impossible to open, and it comes in a heavy plastic container which is not easy to use. I’ve found another brand that comes in a paper containing which is much more earth friendly. This brand is also much too expensive. It does however, work well on insects.

6 cats and an apartment.
Hello all!So, I was living with my dad during my college years, and he suddenly gets married and decides to move with his new wife. I would’ve joined back then but I wanted to complete my term in college. So I moved in with the mother.Little did I know, she had 6 cats and the fleas were horrible throughout the year. My stepdad was terrible about not letting the cats out, so they were constantly bringing in the stupid fleas inside.Every night I had a random flea in my bed. Shoot, I couldn’t even use the restroom without those little insects hopping on my legs. It got pretty annoying. Jokingly, I even contemplated poisoning the cats (I didn’t).Anyway, about a year after this experience, my mom decided to move out too but she leaves me the apartment. I was stoked to have these stupid cats out. But the fleas remained. So I did some homework.I found that this stuff supposedly helped and a lot of people had some success. So I bought this gallon. I bought a duster and sprayed down the entire apartment. When they were moving furniture, the movers were wondering why the apartment was so dusty. But I didn’t care, I wanted those little bastards gone.It wasn’t a quick fix. It definitely took some time. I sprayed everything with this stuff. Every corner of the rooms, under everything. It made it easier that my mom basically cleared the apartment. I think I left the dust for about two weeks. When the girlfriend had enough, I finally vacuumed and mopped. (Used a mixture of White Vinegar, Dawn soap and Peppermint oil). After mopping everything twice. There was no flea in sight! It worked!!!For all the negative reviews? Sure, the gallon is a pain to open, but this is still pretty good value. If you’re desperate, this might do the trick for you. And if you decide to consume, drink lots of water.

Good buy
I love this product! It seemed to have lasted longer than the typical bags, plus the bucket that it comes in is very handy as well as convenient. It's not bulky, and fits into small spaces when you need to put it away. I will more than likely be purchasing this product again. I would also recommend it to anyone. My only issue I had with it was actually getting into the bucket once it arrived. The instructions on the lid were not clear and I had never seen a lid that was opened this way. It took me a while to finally get it opened. The other slight issue I have is that the price is a little steep in my opinion, but it did seem to last longer and like I said the bucket is convenient so I guess that cancels it out.
