I am surprised that it gives a good shave. Just one quarter teaspoon of this rubbed on your wet face, then shave with a schick razor . Cannot beat that.

My first tiem in trying this product. I use a boar bristle brush and shave cream in my shaving prep. I found thsi product to be reasonably priced by comparison. It lathers very well and lubricates to my satisfaction ( I use Harry's razors and have a moderatly heavy beard).For me, the scent is a bit too much. But it is not a deal breaker and I have already ordered another pump bottle of Taconic Shave Cream, only in a different scent. I rated this: 2 stars for scent, 4 for value and 5 stars for comfort.As long as they keep the pricing at this current level, I'll likely stick with this product for the foreseeable future.

I have tried all of the shave soaps/creams over the years, and this is one of the very best I have used.1. The “Urban Woods” scent is really really nice. Not overpowering but definitely there.2. A pump bottle!!! I like ease of use and this is very convenient.3. Works great with a brush and also works equally good lathering with just your hands. Ease of use again4. Post shave feel is also great, no irritation and skin is soft even after the bite of aftershave.I need to get the matching aftershave and try some of the other scents. This is a great value.

I think the lotion does a good job of smoothing the shaving process. I just with there was a better option for packaging. Maybe a concentrate, or bar.

Bought this along with the Excalibur aftershave and the solid cologne. All were amazing products! The shave cream is super concentrated, only takes a mtiny bit for a big full later, and by tiny bit I mean like size of pea. If that! Smell is clean, mature, warm, not too musky, slightly sharp (in a good way) at first, and mellows out to really amazing, smooth, super clean scent. Won't make you smell like an old man, or a teenager. Sophisticated, but not pretentious. Amazing shave. All natural, certified organic, affordable. My new daily.

Poor packaging caused this to completely explode and cap is busted. Such a small bottle for $20 I did not realize it was so small. There’s no option to replace or return item. Not a good experience so far. Waste of money.
