Really good magnet, the mat is OK
I actually bought this for the mat and I'm a little disappointed with it. It's basically an over-sized mouse pad with a low-quality print on it. You can't even read the text on it. It was shipped folded up and it still won't lay flat after a month of being on my workbench.The magnet is great though. I mounted it under my desk and it holds my pistol flat, no problems. I tried it with a full 32 round magazine loaded and the magnet seemed like it could have held another 10-20 pounds. No problems at all with the extended mag.Just to test it, I tried to see if the magnet would hold an AR-15 and it almost held. I bet it would have held it if I removed the flashlight and optics, or if the magnet was on a wall instead of under the desk.

I usually carry a handgun every day.. , I went searching for a solution for a quicker draw than from my holster. I have found it in this simple product. I installed my AlphaMag magnet under my dashboard whenever I get into my vehicle and attach it to the magnet for quick access. it is much more accessible so that I drive in more comfort and security. I even went off-roading with a fully loaded mag to see if the pistol would fall off. To my surprise, it was still attached through the whole ride. The mat that comes with is also beautifully designed and i have been using it for every maintenance job my firearms require. Highly recommend, this is one of the best bundles i have come cross.

Great product
I've tried many of the gun magnets on Amazon and they were all mediocre. Most were weak or expensive. AlphaMag offers the best bundle for your money in my opinion. First off you cannot beat the price! A high quality magnet and a high quality gun cleaning mat for cheaper than anyone else! I love the Black with white logo it really brings out their brand. Second,these things are strong! If you mount them properly one magnet can hold a shotgun or rifle no problem at all. I installed one in closet to mount my AR-15 and it holds it effortlessly

Great Buy
There are so many magnets on the market that it makes it hard to choose. I went with AlphaMag because i believe that they offer the best bundle for your money. The magnet was incredibly strong and i was able to mount it in my truck in under 5 minutes. I used the 3m adhesive initially but decided to reinforce it with 2 screws just for safety sake. The magnet is so strong that my wife has trouble pulling her fully loaded Beretta off with one hand. The mat that comes with is also a nice bonus, it is making me want to purchase an AR-15. Overall great products and a greater bundle.

I have no doubt that these will hold 35 lbs as stated. They hold sturdy enough that I have 100% confidence that my pistol will stay attached over the roughest of roads, and I'd be willing to bet when mounted stationary that an AR-15 would hold tight as well. The covering is non-scratch and the recessed screws that came with the magnets are excellent. The mat that came with is also excellent and works wonders for when I clean my handguns.

Best product out there.
Love this product and have been searching for a great deal as some sellers want an arm and a leg for mediocre equipment. I for one think the mat and the magnet are amazing. Great job Alpha Mag!!

Alpha mat was included with the Alph Mag as a bonus.
I like the Alpha Mag. Its compact but yet very durable and able to hold my weapon with good strength. It also was easily accessible once the Alpha Mag was mounted. I also like mat that was included. It is easy cleanup with the mat.
