Disappointing results.
This item arrived on time and looked to be excellent quality. However having made up several cables and tested them, none worked! Close examination showed that the crimping tool had not penetrated the sheath and made the contact with 4 out of eight wires using the supplied terminals. Cutting off the terminals and replacing them gave the same result, It was only when I inserted a blade above the terminal and re-crimping was contact made, A complete waste of eight terminal ends. I was using sheathed outdoor Cat 7 cable, but as the sheath was stripped in order to fit the ends, it should not have made a difference.
