Reflective Adjustable Dog H Harness for Small to Medium Dogs; matching collar and leash available, Red

First off - love the brand and this is my second buy. wanted a leash clip in front to work on heeling better.Conceptually it works great, but the design is not effective. Because the neck strap must slip over head it can't be adjusted smaller smaller than dog's head. As a result the lead clip on the chest has a lot of play to move left and right. As we walk to would move towards me and the leash clip would wind up on his inside shoulder. If they offered a step in harness design I would buy in a second. It might work for a bigger dog? Or a different shape dog? My dog does not have a big head though. He is 14 lbs and I always buy based on chest size (16 inches) because that's always the determining factor as his neck and head are med-small,

The media could not be loaded.  I am in love with these harnesses!! They are the perfect style for all of my small dogs. The medium size is also the perfect size for all my three different dog breeds. I have a 10 lb chi-mix, 9 lb Papillon, and 8 lb chi-mix and the medium accommodates each of their differently shaped bodies. All my dogs choke very easily with a leash attached to their collar so i needed the right harness to make sure their necks stay completely safe and don't cause any hacking from too much tension on the neck. I have tried multiple harnesses that still manage to put tension on the neck when dogs pull. This harness functions exactly how I was anticipating. It doesn't put any tension on the neck of your dog when they pull and I demonstrate the proof in the video I have of one of my dogs leashed to this harness. The reflective part of the harness is just a plus if you ever are walking your dogs in the dark. My favorite colors are the Purple and Pink, I settled for red though cause I wanted all of my dogs to have a different color and they are all female so red was the only option left for me.

Size small to medium is actually labeled Medium and marked 13-20 inches. Now how hard is it to provide this information in the product description? Its a nice harness but the underneath chest piece between the neck and belly strap is not really able to be adjusted small enough for my dog because of the manufacturer tag of brand name. Dumb placement. The whole sizing thing on this brand is off. Small is 3/8 inch adjusting to 14 inches around the chest, small to medium is 5/8" and adjusts to 13-20 inches and medium to large is 3/4 inch and 18-29 inches around the chest. So theres not enough overlap between sizes. I gave it 4 stars because it is nicely made if you are lucky enough to get it to fit. Hopefully having measurements for each size will help.I can say that the pink is actually a pretty hot pink not the rose pink that showed on my computer. The brown is nice too.I did find the 3/8 inch rogz pupz line zip zap size small fits 12-19 inch body. That worked for my 7-8 lb pup where the small reflective only went to 14 inches and would be outgrown quickly.All in all a time consuming pain to order these from amazon due to the lack of fitting measurements on product description and also from the manufacturers own site.

I love Rogz harnesses and have purchased many over the years. I prefer this style H harness above all other harness styles for use on my pomeranians, chihuahuas, and toy breed mixes. These I've found most effective at keeping the pressure off their necks, which are prone to injury and congenital trachea issues. They also fit down to about 4 lbs so can fit an older toy breed puppy (for puppies less then 4lbs and under 12 wks old, I generally purchase kitten harnesses). The only thing I do not like about these is the band on the stomach (the one that connects the neck strap to the rib cage strap) being adjustable. I find this unnecessary and even when adjusted it loosens itself. I'd prefer it just cut and sewn to fit the tightest adjustment and forego the ability to adjust the sternum strap, personally. Overall though, I love these harnesses as they fit well and minimize pressure on the trachea.

I like to use a harness for longer walks to avoid putting pressure on my dog's neck, especially in hot weather. We're on our...third? fourth? one of these. Not because they've fallen apart, but because my dog likes to chew her harnesses off of her own body, so I keep buying new harnesses. I really like this item. I do think they run kind of small, so check the measurements on the Rogz website. My dog is a little over 40 pounds and somewhat barrel-chested, and she's a size M-L. This item is high-quality and will last forever (unless your dog is a talented chewer like mine). In the size M-L, there is a little lock on the buckle. This harness is sort of annoying to put on, but I think it's easier than the step-in kind, and it gets easier once you and your dog get the hang of it. The colors are pretty and the reflective thread...reflects. If your dog is a puller, this harness might not be the best choice, as it attaches to the leash in back and will just allow your dog to pull more powerfully. But for the rest of us, highly recommend.

I have been buying. Or I should say NOT buying Rogz since I found them. That's because they are SO GOOD!! I have never had to replace their collars or harnesses until my pet outgrew the harness he had.I will never buy another brand again!

I use a variety of harnesses for my Scottie. She pulls and yanks and I know it's my fault that I have not hired a trainer to train her out of it (I clearly am unable to do it by myself though I have tried for four years) but I just haven't come up with the time or money for that yet. So I get different harnesses because then the pressure on her little frame gets applied differently. I think she probably makes herself sore from the yanking and pulling, so having different harness types applies the pressure to different places on the next walk. She's a Scotty so very stubborn (won't quit yanking) and enthusiastic (which is endearing). The medium size is the widest strap that will fit her, so that provides more distribution of the pressure too. (You might be thinking if the harness were less comfy when she pulls that would dissuade the pulling, but she is not that logical.) She stops pulling after about the first mile. I do love walking her. :P

This is a great harness. It is so safe to use . Our Jack Russell is lively and therefore a good safe comfortable harness is required, and this particular one ticks all the boxes!

Lovely colour, perfect for my two jack russells, slightly reflective. Fits them better than our previous harness's bought from Pets at home. They dont sag, they fit perfect around their chest area. good quality.

As usual when I but things for my dog there too big, love the colour but it`s really too big and loose on my wee dog.i think I ordered the smallest size, but it`s trial and error sometimes.
