K'nex are wonderful toys for the young with imagination. This set is a great starter set and the tote has enough room for adding more sets.K'nex are traditionally small pieces and don't look like much in the tote. This set includes over 500 pieces. These pieces and a little imagination can build much out of them.

These were smaller than I was prepared for. Smaller than both the other sets I bought my grandson & so he as a little trouble connecting the smaller pieces. However, now he can share with his cousin, which was my intent, & they allow for a lot of creativity. On the up side he can grow into the smaller pieces.

Expensive for the amount of pieces, but still an awesome sensory toy.

Great set. My son loves building with these.

My son is obsessed with Lego, I got him these to see if he would enjoy the creative build options and it worked out!

i have always loved Knex and now i can show my grandson how much fun they are. It will also help huis creativity and understanding how to follow written instructions.

Is it 500 pieces? Probably (I didn't count). Are Knex a cool building toy? Definitely - we love them. However, selling a big box with only a handful of pieces in the bottom feels pretty darn deceptive.
