I'm a big fan of the regular Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer (I still use this one at night), so I was really excited to try this matte version for daytime—and it did not disappoint! It gives almost the same level of hydration as the original but with a noticeably matte finish, which I really appreciate.The original formula is still a bit more moisturizing, but it always left my skin looking too shiny (unless you're into the glazed donut look—which I can't quite pull off). This matte version tones that down perfectly while still keeping my skin comfortable.I also noticed they have an SPF version now, so I’ll definitely be grabbing that one next!UPDATE: After about a month of daily use, I started to notice that my face was feeling tight and dry. To test whether this was the culprit, I switched back to my regular Toleriane Double Repair Moisturizer — and sure enough, the dryness and tightness subsided within a couple of days.That’s when I realized this matte version is actually formulated for oily skin (which it says right in the description — oops!). So while I still love the texture and finish, it's just not the right fit for my dry skin.That said, I’m keeping my 5-star rating because this was more of a mismatch on my part, not an issue with the product itself. If you have oily or combination skin, I still think this would be a great daytime moisturizer!

Light. Non-greasy. Feels amazing. Doesn't take more than a pea sized dab to do my entire face, great value. Does not make my face shiny. I put this on after all my acne care products, and it's worked like a dream to help calm my acne even further. Scentless.

This is my daily moisturizer. I use it during the day and evening. It leaves the skin feeling soft, moisturized and matte as it promises.It is effective for the whole day. I apply it to my face after washing it early in the morning and when I leave my work at 5:00 it’s still matte! I hate the moisturizers that leaves that shiny, greasy face. I don’t understand why people like products like that.I think it has enough product to last for maybe three months. You just apply a little bit and massage it into the skin. The skin absorbs it really fast. I highly recommend it for people with greasy skin.

Just I wish the matte finish lasted a bit longer throughout the day, but overall it’s a solid choice for oily or combination skin.

A gem if you have sensitive or reactive skin. This cream has saved me when my skin is irritated by the weather or by using harsher products like retinol or exfoliants. It feels light, has no fragrance, and absorbs super quickly. I love that it has niacinamide and ceramides, because it helps soothe and hydrate at the same time.My skin is combination and acne-prone, and it hasn't caused any breakouts or left my face shiny. I use it mostly in the morning under sunscreen, and also at night when I want something gentle but effective. I will definitely repurchase it.

This moisturizer was a game changer for me. I have acne prone/combination skin and have a really hard time finding a moisturizer that doesn't make my skin look shiny and give me breakouts. This product is definitely worth the price, its unscented and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated all day. It applies smoothly, gives my skin a matte appearance, vanished my pores and has helped with my blemishes/aging spots. 10/10 recommend this product

I like this brand a lot!It feels good on my skin! Keeps my skin hydrated and moisturized! The product is not oily and gives a good matte finish without being dry.

First, I want to say that this lotion doesn't have a bothersome smell or consistency. The texture is nice, and it feels light and soothing during application. It hasn't irritated my skin, burned my eyes (I won't use products that do that, to include sunscreens!), or caused me any irritation or acne. It's a good value.I also have normal to combo skin for the most part. Sometimes I turn into a total grease slick during the hot, humid months, but for the most part, my oiliness is typically in my T zone. I do use some mattifying cosmetics occasionally, but I tend to prefer a more dewy moisturizer. Sometimes I use thicker creams, but for normal day use, I usually put on regular Cetaphil (light consistency) or a tinted moisturizer with SPF, and sometimes at night I will put on a thicker moisturizer such as CeraVe cream, IT cosmetics Miracle, or even a thicker cica cream. Depends on actives, weather, and overall skin factors.This stuff is MATTE. I was actually surprised how matte it got because it went on lovely like a light gel moisturizer. No more than 10 minutes later, I looked in the mirror and all the luster had left my skin. I kind of looked waxy. Okay, not kind of... I looked like I was ready for Madame Tussauds newest exhibit. It is pretty odd. It didn't feel bad or anything, and now that I evaluate it more for this review, I also felt like my skin was made of wax. I did wear it all day with no issues, but I think if I wore this daily, it would have a very drying effect which I don't deal with at all in a moisturizer.I'm not striving for the slicked, "glowy" look all the time. If I want a more dewy glow, I still mattify my T zone with primers or powder. I don't find all that gleam and grease glow to be flattering. So, I have tried to just use this on my T zone. It worked out better, honestly, but it still felt a little drying. I applied a thicker cream at night so I wouldn't dry out. I've also tried it with a more dewy foundation, and still had the same effect.I am considering mixing it with something else just so it doesn't go to waste. I have no desire to "waxify" the skin on my body, so that's out. I really wish I liked it more, but I'm just not there yet. Maybe I never will be.
