I initially used this cream to numb the skin over a portacath central IV line before piercing the skin and the portacath membrane with a needle. It worked beautifully to minimize the discomfort. Later I used it to relieve the searing pain of a second-degree (partial thickness) burn from the hot element of an oven. Again, it worked beautifully. It was applied sparingly for both uses. My favorite feature is the absence of other active ingredients besides lidocaine -- no menthol, methyl salicylate, or camphor. This product is a winner!

Amazing it works went in for laser hair removal and omg little to no pain please remember a good even layer of the product on the area you need and plastic wrap over it I used cut up sandwich bags and it worked omg thank you so much for creating this will be buying and using again

I was skeptical, I’ll say that much. It did a damn good job though. It wore off around 2 hours in but it was perfect to start out. I will say though, it’s in a pretty small packaging so if you have a bigger spot, you may need two containers.

If you’re looking at this product for tattooing- works GREAT! Hear me out. I ordered this for a tattoo and then never went through with using it- some artists don’t like clients to use it and I felt awkward about asking. I found an artist I was going to repeatedly and mentioned it to them- they gave me the clear to try it the next time I came in. Here’s the thing, by this time, the cream was TWO YEARS EXPIRED. But, I already had it and figured I’d use it up- I’d been getting tattooed forever without it so if it didn’t work, whatever. I planned on following the suggestions: rub in thin layer, coat with a thick layer, wrap super tight with plastic wrap, leave on for 2+ hrs prior. When the day came, I got behind and rushed through application and was only able to let it set for maybe 45 minutes. I was getting around my knee tattooed and to no surprise, it didn’t work. Stay with me. A few weeks later, I was getting more work done on the same knee tattoo. This time, I was going to give it another go and make an effort to follow through if h properly. Two hours prior, I rubbed in a good amount then covered the area with a THICK layer. Then using plastic wrap, I wrapped it VERY tight. Took it off at the shop right before the stencil was applied. Now, seeing as I had the same area tattooed, I knew what to expect. Let me tell you, I COULD NOT FEEL A THING! Tattoo took a little over an hour and it stayed numb the entire time. I have tons of tattoos, and I wish I would have used this YEARS ago! I will ALWAYS make an attempt to use this and numb the area. Game changer!! Buy it! Worked wonders even after being expired!

I ran out of Ebanel numbing cream, so I brought this brand for microneedling. I applied it to my face, waited for about 30 minutes, washed it off, poked at my face with my fingers to make sure it was numb, and then proceeded to microneedle. I felt little pain with the shorter needles, but with the deeper needles, I definitely felt pain and had to stop the microneedling session early. This was not the case when using Ebanel numbing cream. I had no problems using the longer needles, and I have microneedled plenty of times using Ebanel. Next time, I am going to try leaving the numbing cream on longer and see if that works. If not, I will go back to using Ebanel. The only reason I bought this brand was because it was a lightning deal. I am giving it three stars because it does numb but very superficially.Hope my review helps! Does nothing. Rubs on like a cream. You wait for things to get numb but they don’t. Nothing happens. So you look at the bottle again, debate it, then reapply, and still nothing.If it was a good quality cream I would have used the rest as hand cream, but it doesn’t even work for that.Good thing about it is this is actually cheaper than the exact same one my doctor prescribed for a different issue. The bottle was the same size, same lidocaine % and my copay was $50 !!

Okay so here’s what’s up with this product. It’s a 10/10 from me 10000% due to the fact that I got this for tattoo use. I applied a thin layer first, let it dry, then gooped on a second layer and covered in plastic wrap for about an hour and a half. Now, there was a bit of a burning/numbing sensation but I really had no clue how numb I was until my dad grabbed a fork and poked at me about an hour in… NOT A THING, maybe some pressure and cold-ish sensation but absolutely zero pain. I was shooketh to my core and to think it had only been an hour. I left it on for about thirty forty more minutes and then took everything off and washed with soap and water… ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Crazy sensation too, pretty cool, and as a science connoisseur I had to trial run and peer review this product first. I even grabbed a couple box openers and butter knifes to gently poke and prod at my skin, ZILCH, ZADA, ZIP, NOTHING. NO MAAM, NOT A THING. That was at noon, it’s now almost 3:30 and this section of my arm is cold stone numb STILL. This reminds me of the nerve block injection surgeons have to give you prior/post surgery, it’s that effective. I’ll update again once my sister and I actually get the tattoos. Since this was just a test run, I am extremely impressed and for such a SMALL amount, to think it could do all this ????? My sister is deathly afraid needles and I can only imagine the anxiety relief she may feel after we use this product a few hours before our appointment. DEFINITELY BUY if you’re on the fence with these other numbing creams, I get it, but this is #1 on the list for a reason. I can only imagine it’s other useful benefits, although this seems to be more of a surface level numb and less than a muscle deep type numb. I’ll use it on my bum knee and ankle and see if it does anything too, look out for an update sometime soon on pain relief and tattoo help !!!!! :)
