Sun Cap Fishing Hat for Men Women, Sun Hat Wide Brim, Boonie Hat

The hooks that hold the front and back sun skirts could have been a little better but the hat does work and keeps the sun off the back of your neck and the front skirt keeps the sun off the front of your face and it has the added effect of having an extra layer of protection from the Covid virus.

This product is a gear example of the saying, “You get what you pay for.” For the price, I suppose it does the job, but regardless of price I was unimpressed with the cheap plastic clips that hold the drapes onto the hat. Two have already broken and the rest barely hang on, making me have to constantly take the hat off to fix them.The hat itself has very cheap quality. It is lightweight, which is great in hot weather, but storing this in a bag you will quickly find that it creases easily and gets out of whack on shape, make it look odd when you go to wear it. I am particular that I like hats to be able to be stored in a bag. This is not that type of hat.

Way too large for even my large head. Size adjustment cord scrunched up the brim so badly it looked like someone had crushed the cap onto my skull and no amount of fooling with the brim would straighten it out. The rear cocks up and the left side droops over my ear. Not even snapping the brim up aussie style on both sides helps.

I ordered several sun hats at the same time from Amazon. This was the best of them. I wore it at altitude all day long in the sun, and I did not get burned.I also liked the fact that I could wad the hat up and stuff it in my backpack in late afternoon or evening, and it retained its shape the next morning.The one thing I had a problem with was that sometimes (upon removing the hat from my backpack) the little hooks would come out of the loops that held the flaps to the hat, but it was easy to reinsert them.

I had to decrease stars due to the fact I couldn’t wear it. This hat is “one size” and I have a 24” head. I put it on and it was TIGHT. I’m sure it’s a great hat and I’m sad I can use it, but I have a friend with a smaller head who will benefit.

I like it because it does what it was designed to do, keep sun off sensitive skin. I dislike that the crown of the hat is floppy and doesn't stand up. Makes a small head look unattractive.

I bought this for my husband because he can't be out in the sun for to long. This has helped him be able to be outside for a much longer time then he ever could be.

Pretty great overall the only problem is that the plastic hooks are a bit too weak and were broken after about a month
