Q: Has anyone tried scanning insurance cards or drivers licenses on this scanner?

Yes. Because it is a straight-through scanner, it will scan anything, including such cards. What it does not do (and I have not tried) is convert the cards into a form that feeds directly into Outlook or a CRM. Very nice scanner.

Q: Does this product work for scanning photographs?

Sure. Black-and-white or color. Of course the results you get will depend on your printer if you’re trying to copy them.

Q: Works with mac os 10.13 high sierra? (website shows 10.12 drivers)

I’m positive. Most of the driver packages are backwards compatible.
