Q: Will the kill fish like mollies?

If the molly is sick or lethargic as a scavenger the dwarf cray will do what's natural. With healthy fish you have nothing to worry about. I would attempt your direct your concern to the other fish(Mollies amongst others) harrassing these tiny guys. These fellows are commonly kept with dwarf shrimp and other nano fish, or in smaller environments. But, as a general warning they are opportunist. In my personal experience they worry about each other and everything else is just there :) I've kept them with several species of .5in-4in and can honestly say I have(over the course of 7 years) never seen them capture, chase after, ambush or stalk a fish, dwarf shrimp or the fry. As I mentioned before though they can and will be aware of each other if territories/safe places are not plentiful(i.e. 2 or more caves/hiding crevices for each Cambarellus sp. By the way, they CAN interbreed with the other dwarf crays. Hope this helps.

Q: Are these the Cajun variety of dwarf crayfish?

It's a dwarf crayfish found in the same southern states as the common Cajun crayfish. But that is where all similarities end. C diminitus is a shy, docile creature that does not rearrange your plants or aquarium decorations and does not attack fish or other shrimp. Prefers heavily planted tanks where they can hide so well you won't see them for weeks on end. If you need to be entertained... stay away from this crawfish. They need excellent water quality and require intermediate to expert skills and set up

Great addition to my community tank.

These crayfish arrived in great condition and are now living in my 20 gallon tank with other crustaceans (amano shrimp, cherry red shrimp, ghost shrimp, and aquatic sowbugs), snails, and tropical fish (guppies, swordtails, and a dwarf gourami).
