These are a nice size and thickness, very absorbant and hold up well after a year of use. I've only used 1 1/2 rolls of regular paper towels since getting these but I still keep a roll across the kitchen for greasy things such as draining bacon. I don't use the roll that came with them so can't comment on how it works. Instead, I fold them in half and have them on a small wooden tray behind my sink. They're great for small spills and clean ups, drying hands etc. I save money and the waste of single use paper products.

These are great flannel “paper” towels. The flannel has good nap so the towels roll well. They also come off smoothly without pulling the next towel (and the next) off, too. The colors are vibrant and the towels retain their color wash after wash. The price is very reasonable compared to others. One package is enough to get me through from one load of laundry to the next. I only use these in the kitchen but am thinking I should add them to the bathrooms as well. Oh! Almost forgot - the included cardboard roll is nice and sturdy. It fits over my standard paper towel holder just fine. Five stars well deserved.

I try to use washable and reuseable items for kitchen cleanup. These work very well, and wash up nicely.

These are attractive little cloths. They wash well, but I do lay them flat to dry so they roll back up without wrinkles. They are absorbent enough to pick up little spills, and to use as a napkin if needed. They roll easily onto my existing paper towel holder and are pretty good at staying there. They are single ply—not double fabric—which I find adequate. I can use them for anything I used to use paper towels for, however, for disgusting animal messes I still use paper towels. The size is a little smaller than a regular paper towel. I have been happy with my purchase and have given them as gifts.

These are really pretty, and when I washed them they did not shrink or come unraveled. I did a cold cycle so maybe that helped. Used one so far and it works fine, just have to hold it over the liquid for a second to absorb. Worth it to save money not buying paper towels so much.

The construction of these cotton squares is great. They are soft, pretty, and nicely hemmed. BUT!! I want my paper towels to mop up spills quickly! These do not. In fact, it takes a longtime for them to soak up liquid. I decided to use them as reusable napkins.I purchased some Swedish dishcloths on a roll from Amazon. These work much better as reusable paper towels. They soak up liquid immediately. They wring out nicely and dry quickly.
