i bought this little crunchy ice maker to replace my larger, very expensive name brand opal ice maker that died after 18 months. I became very dependent on it to encourage my water intake, so I replaced it quickly with this ice maker. It's a smaller version but still kicks out enough ice to keep four of us in the home satisfied with soft pellet ice. I wish the basket held more, but it does produce ice very quickly, so if I have to wait it's only about 15 minutes to a cupful. The ice tastes great, and I use my countertop filtered water (no chlorine, fluoride or other contaminants or chemicals) to fill it. It's easy to fill at the top, and easy to clean. The noise level could be less, but we got used to it and it's on a kitchen counter away from where we enjoy our mealtime conversation. Overall, good value for the money. I hope it lasts, but if not I purchased the 3 year warranty.

The Ice Machine came earlier than expected but unfortunately was defective. It made a loud grinding noise shortly after I turned it on. I notified the company and they got back to me within 48 hours, asked me to explain the situation and promptly agreed to refund my money. The representatives were very courteous and responded every day until we got the situation resolved. Good company to deal with.

It works great and the nugget ice is perfect. I bought this one to upgrade to a larger size for the summer but the basket only holds enough to not even fill a 40 oz tumbler. Thankfully it makes ice fast. It takes more counter space than the one I was already using and doesn’t really hold any more than the one that cost half as much.

I absolutely love this product. I had another ice maker previously that took forever to produce the ice and keep it cold. This machine pumps out ice quickly. Only downfall is it does go through water quickly so you want to make sure you are close by if you are needing a lot ice to be made for your freezer ice container so you can refill the water.

I love this ice maker. It makes small ice cubes that are crunchy. It makes the ice fast. It doesn't keep the ice cold. The ice has to be dumped into a freezer. It does make some noise, but it's not bad. Perfect for summer drinks. Good value for the price. Easy to use. It looks nice on the counter.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Horrible item I ordered two times the first time I gave it benefit of the doubt it came with grease all over. Second time the replacement came there was oil inside. DO NOT ORDER if I could do zero starts I would.

Must be de-scaled three times a week! Cleaning is NOT easy, and it is very time consuming. The size is great, but 18 hours a week of cleaning just to have ice...

This is a great little machine. No hook up to water needed. Makes ice quickly. Now if you’re looking for a machine that will fill your ice chest for an outing, not the one for you.
