Chicken is the best flavor IMHO, followed by Beef #2.Chicken has a yummy buttery flavor. The Beef flavor cooks a little faster, but the Chicken is worth waiting another minute or 2. Chicken flavor, I add canned chicken and canned carrots or corn to optimize the nutritional value. For the Beef, I add just canned carrots or corn, no meat is added.I am totally hooked on these darned things!Maruchan brand is much better than the other leading brand. Lots more packet flavor and better noodles. You cannot beat the speed of preparing these or the price.

I have stored Ramen Noodles/Soup Mixes in cool and dark for years and hv yet to find any of my stock that tastes or smells rancid. I've tried every Maruchan's flavor and never disappointed...The mixes are great alone but add meat and vegetables and you hv a great hot meal. I cold soak my noodles then stir in the pkt into the hot water...I always bend the pkg to bust up the noodle cake, I like short Ramen Noodles best...

The Chicken Flavor: Is very good, I'm a vegetarian who eats poultry and I'm allergic to several things and that includes Potassium Chloride. I really like MSG and it even lowers my heart rate. I'm glad that Potassium Chloride isn't listed on the product label. Another brand that has Potassium Chloride burns me and it also causes my heart to race and for me to feel awful and Potassium Chloride except in a very low amount in some cheese products is again something that's very very awful for me to have and so thank you for the product, I appreciate it!
