An apocalyptic story set in the furthest reaches of our planet, in a stark desert landscape where humanity is broken, and almost everyone is crazed fighting for the necessities of life. Within this world exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There's Max, a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. And Furiosa, a woman of action and a woman who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland.

Best watched in black!
The box contains both the black and color versions. Watching in black took my breath away. The landscape appears more dry and drab, the infection more contagiously visible and the mood more sober. This is what George Miller must have envisaged when the black & chrome edition was rolled out. Got to feel more for the people when i watched the black edition. The music is thunderous to test your home theater.

This steelbox looks too cool but again, if it came with other artworks in the case like a tiny poster or a booklet or comic leaves it would have been a home run (not expecting a digibook)

One of the best movies of that year and a great cinematic viewer experience. Definitely worth the 500 bucks you spend on this as you get the chrome cast version as well. It's a steal at this price.
