Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up to Me

Much of the novel is wonderful, funny and charming, but it's not without its flaws - some of the characterisation is a little uneven - and the ending leaves a pretty bad taste in the mouth. Don't expect a masterpiece, but it does make you wonder what he could have gone on to write.

I purchased this book as a gift for my son and he is very happy with it. It was on his wish list.

This is a hugely disorientating book and quite a journey.Sometimes I didn't feel up to desiophering the language and ongoings but it had me hooked.Enjoy x
