Most of the items were cleaned in about 48 hrs. It worked better than I anticipated when I started-had a dishpan full of tools that had rusted after being left out in the yard for 2 years-I really thought all was lost, but I was able to salvage 80%. I tried the vinegar and baking soda method on my very rusty grill grates. Then I tried dawn dish soap. No luck. I bought this and it worked better but the instructions say that if the solution turns black to discard and not re-use. It turned black. and my grates were not completely rust free. So, it works but you may need to buy a lot of it.

works like magic. it will blacken whatever you use it on though. no big deal for me though.

This product removes rust on tools and power tool blades and hand saws. Also Hand tools. All you need is a container to soak them in. Most products are rust preventives, but this is for already rusted tools. Nothing can restore the metal that is rusty, but this will rid the rust.
