Glazed Porcelain Outlet Box
I purchased this to replace one I broke. It's exactly like the one I broke and works correctly.

Works
Simple to mount, connect, fit and working. When connecting to the wires, the "hot" wire connects to the "brass" screw and "silver" screw connect to the negative wire.

Compact & Reliable: Leviton Glazed Porcelain Lampholder.
I needed a simple, robust, and safe lampholder for a utility area where durability and heat resistance were key. The Leviton One-Piece Glazed Porcelain Outlet Box Mount Incandescent Lampholder (49875, White) seemed to fit the bill perfectly for its no-frills, functional design. The porcelain construction is the standout feature here – it's incredibly durable, resistant to heat, and feels very substantial and safe for incandescent bulbs. The one-piece design makes installation straightforward and quick, mounting directly to a standard outlet box. The glazed finish looks clean and is easy to wipe down. It's a no-nonsense, reliable unit that does exactly what it's supposed to do without any fuss, providing a secure and heat-resistant socket for a bulb. While its simplicity is a strength, it also means it lacks any additional features like a pull chain, switch, or integrated outlet, which might be desired in some applications. The terminals are basic screw-down types, which are functional but could be slightly easier to wire in very tight boxes. It's also designed purely for incandescent bulbs; while it can hold LEDs, its heat resistance is somewhat over-engineered for modern, cooler-running The Leviton 49875 Lampholder is an excellent choice for anyone needing a sturdy, heat-resistant, and utterly reliable basic incandescent lampholder. Its porcelain construction ensures longevity and safety, making it ideal for utility rooms, basements, garages, or any area where a simple, durable light source is required. While it's minimalistic in features, its core function is executed perfectly, making it a highly recommended component for a straightforward lighting solution
