No side pockets for bottles
Thought I would love. But, no. This backpack does not have side pockets so be beverage can be held upright.

Wonderful
My daughter and I both love this backpack. Ice cream cones are so unique I think to see on one. Wish that there was a fabric pull on all the zippers and that there was side pockets. The front pocket has pockets in it for pens/pencils and a calculator or small notepad. Ypy also have to fight a little to get the front pocket zipper to close all the way.
