Paracord Survival Necklace Waterproof Waxed Fire Tinder Cord

This isn't my first necklace like this and I could tell right away this was junk compared to my previous fire starter necklace. The flint is hard to hold and constantly rotates in your hand when attempting to strike. The ribs really do not help with anything besides making tinder out of the material. The direction of which you're trying to strike to ignite whatever you're trying to catch fire is completely random. I use this in an automotive application for igniting tire glue to create a secure patch and I lay out a bunch of glue in a circular pattern. My last necklace I could light it in one of two strikes. I have to sit here and strike it for a good 30 seconds before it I even get spark(after shaving the finish down) and then from there the glue is dried up, so I got to reapply it and then I can't even hit the glue because the spark doesn't reach unless I put it right on top and burn my hands! Save your money and spend the extra $10 on a real product, not this one! I woke up the other day and the necklace literally came undone! I can't even wear it anymore...

this striker is GREAT!!! works better than any of the others I have. Throws great spark, easy to use even with the little ferrow rod. Ready to go back out to the woods..

What's not to like. Nice little fire starter on an adjustable necklace. If the piece of paracord is lost you can just use part of the necklace.

I got this for myself to match the OD Green paracord bracelet I have, along with an OD Green paracord keychain. I love the combinations i got to actually match.

My daughter likes very few things in this world but she does like this necklace.

Seems like may have been an OK product but the ferro rod was missing making it useless.
