Songbird Essentials 18 x 15 Recycled Plastic Fly Through Platform Bird Feeder. Easy Clean with Roof

Seems to be well crafted and sturdy! There is a solid area in the center on the bottom that you can use to attach a pole mount adapter. The screws dig into the material tightly. The 18x15 dimensions are for the bottom platform. The roof is only a smidge larger all around. It came fully assembled including the screens on the bottom (there are two sections of screens). I did have to tighten a couple of the screws around the perimeter but it was no problem. I erected mine on the Erva 5 piece pole set with twist in ground socket (which also includes a pole mount adapter). It seems to be sturdy. I also added the Perky Pet green squirrel baffle. My birds are loving this feeder especially the cardinals.

When I was shopping for the "fly-thru" feeder I came across several to choose from, this being the most expensive. When it arrived I was pleased with everything I initially saw. It wasn't until I flipped it upside down did I notice the poor quality workmanship. The screws used to fasten the roof to the end pieces did not land into the end pieces, there were a total of 3 screws that were screwed from the top of the roof that missed there mark. The screws protruded out like a porcupine and weren't holding anything but air. Very dissatisfied, I paid $109 for this , can't believe this can get by their final inspection.... its visual for Pete sake !!!

This product is just as pictured: it has nice construction, easy to clean, and is large enough for several birds to feed at once. Good replacement for unsanitary wooden feeders.

I was looking for a fly Thur feeder that was not wooden because the location gets wet from sprinkler system. This is perfect! Nice size and it drains--- a nice plus!
