Is the sandtray leakproof

Hello. The tray itself is completely waterproof and contains the sand, however the lid doesn't seal tightly, so the tray shouldn't be tilted when filled with sand.

Do I need to buy extra sand or does it come with enough?

Hi. It comes with enough but with continued use, you may need to refill later. It has 5 lbs of Sandtastik® therapy sand included. Thanks!

What are the dimensions of this item?

Hi Becky. The tray measures 14 5⁄8" x 10 1⁄4" x 3 3⁄8" and the sand and all miniatures fit within. This kit is designed to be a smaller, lighter weight set for portability. If portability is not a concern, our Premium Starter Full Package would be better suited: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MAYM5ZM

What kind of sand comes with the set?

Hello. It comes with 5 lbs of Sandtastik® coarse therapy sand. Thanks!
